Nice!

Anthony Fortuna

Great app for a quick and responsive practice sesh. I wish I had this when I first started out; it takes you right up the neck with scale patterns in every key, the tonic notes are highlighted, and you can explore the circle of fifths, bringing theory and practice together in a simple yet effective way.

Needs some improvements but great app!

Dr_J_Wasser

Great backing tracks and I find them very useful for practicing. Some suggestions would be adding landscape mode to see the scales as you would on the actual guitar. Also please keep adding backing tracks such as blues shuffle, classic metal such as Black Sabbath, wider array of rock ones. Thanks and please keep adding!

Solid resource, UI needs update

ahhlvin

This is an amazing resource for anyone learning or refining their knowledge. However, the user interface seems really outdated for iOS 12, I feel like I’m 5-6 years in the past when iPhone 4s was at their peak. I really want to love this app. Please update the UI!

Great app!!

Cool app but...

Unfortunately, the app doesn’t disable the iPhone’s power saving mode, so the phone screen will automatically turn off after a bit and the app will stop.

Just downloaded the pay version and it doesn’t work.

Not only does it not work, when I report the bug I get an error message. If I dont get a direct response to this in the next hour, I’ll recommend to AVOID this app.

Great App! Poor “App Support” for How-to!

Swade83

It is a very well-made app and extremely useful. However, I had to take off a full star because of a very sketchy website instructions. If you click on to write a review you get an option to see app support. The App Support page is very very basic and leaves unanswered questions. The Q&A page is a joke; it does not ask questions relevant to the app. I could come up with quite a number of useful questions that would actually pertain to questions that users may find unclear. Furthermore, this app support could be drastically improved by adding how to videos for each feature. I am convinced they would sell many more premium Versions if they simply took a little time to make their app support site much more useful.

Abandoned

If you want to support this dev, do it in ChordBank. If you decide to pay to unlock all scales, doing it in that app will still allow you to unlock other features, whereas if you do that here, you would have to pay twice to later unlock all the chord and scale features in ChordBank, which is just this app plus a lot more. I just found another app called Chord! that does everything that this app and everything that ChordBank does for way cheaper (though it is sans the jam tracks). I get more info faster with the other app.

Best source for all scales

on3racing

After trying multiple apps and downloading files and PDFs this is the easiest and most comprehensive I have found. Makes seeing the relationships between keys much easier. Pay the couple bucks and get the full edition and you will be very happy with the amount of information you get.
