Varsity Tutors’ SAT Prep app for iPhone and iPad demystifies studying for this intimidating college entrance exam. Our app developers utilize professionally written questions to imitate the rigorous level of testing that the real exam provides.

The SAT Prep app for iPhone and iPad features comprehensive test and study content for the SAT’s Math, Critical Reading, and Writing sections. Break down your time spent studying by focusing on an SAT subject, or take timed, full-length tests to assess your general aptitude. Receive feedback analyzing your strengths in a variety of testing areas, from determining context-dependent meanings in reading passages to finding an inverse variation, and easily share your results with your friends, parents, or tutor.

Unlike the optional ACT Writing sub-test, the SAT Writing section is mandatory. Hone your skills by studying subject-verb agreement, conjunctions, modifier placements, and proper word usage using the SAT Prep app’s flashcard library. Or, create your own flashcards using a variety of methods, like recording the answers or taking pictures of visual cues, to keep your study materials engaging and helpful. In addition, track your past scores and progress through the app’s
Tests Taken feature.

Students studying for both the 2015 and 2016 SAT exams can find useful information and tools at their fingertips, and the app can be easily adapted to fit the changes to the 2016 SAT. You’ll need to test your best for your future success, and the SAT Prep app for iPhone and iPad can help you prepare.

Seeking benefits much…

I appreciate this app a lot because it provides countless opportunities for all the students taking the SAT, but dare must I say that the best quality of this app is its ability to instantly grade your answer sheet. Which is no longer acquired by this app. During decisions like these , we as student’s, lose the hope of a fair student body and authority that cares more about its test takers then scheming possible ways to create more profit . The elimination of this quality represents and as I said before solidifies the “talk” that College Board cares more about their capital than providing benefits for the success is test takers. HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR SAT

It’s a great app and good tool for preparation towards my SAT exams

Improved Math Score

I used this app to improve my math score, and it worked! I routinely completed one to three of the 10 question math quizzes each day for about a month. My math score improved by 90 points! Taking the quizzes and replicating what I would do on the test day was very helpful. I love how the app explains how to correct wrong answers, too.

Eh

This app is good but, the questions are extremely hard. Especially in reading. I have taken many PSAT, and none are this hard...

Good but unnecessarily hard

I have taken the SAT before, so I know that many of the math questions specifically are MUCH harder than the ones on the actual SAT. Overall a good platform but the intensity could be brought down a bit to match the actual test.

This App is very useful

I love this app and I use it everyday. It’s just annoying when I click on Writing for Learn by concept for the SAT and it takes me back to question 1. I have to remember which question I left off on and click next to that question. You can’t select a specific number. There are over 1,000 questions and by the time I get to the 500s I’ll be spending more time daily clicking to my 5 questions than I will actually answering them. Overall great app, just please add a select question feature or just leave us at the question we left off on.

Bugs

I love it but it doesn’t show some of the pictures in math and also it has subtle mistakes like saying 75% off which would mean 25% but then it multiplied by 75% so it shouldn’t say off. Then it said 10% off and gave 90% which is good.

great but has some flaws

This app is great and very convenient. But, it glitches a lot and the question of the day does not change every day which defeats the whole purpose. Overall, I appreciate that it’s free and easy to use.
