Wireless WIFI FlashDrive Miracle

Lelanlelan

I have 2 iPHONES 4s and one is activated with a phone service we call AA. AA failed to see directories on my Wireless FlashDrive. I refuse to connect my desktop computer to the Internet. I then remembered I Could turn on PERSONAL HOT SPOT on my iPHONE 4s. The instructions were clear, concise and easy to follow...in seconds, I was watching my files transfer from my FlashDrive to my iPHONE 4s, into another APP that allows me to Email my PDF file from my iPHONE....without traveling to a customer service center and ask for help or pay money. I would say I am proud of myself, but APPLE, INC. and SanDisk FlashDrive figured this miracle out 8 years ago, and now that I need it, it actually WORKS! Brownie points to you ALL!!! Good Device/App, Better if it were Smarter

I’ve been using this Device/App combo for several years now. I believe that wireless is where technology is moving to. Given that large corporations are “pushing” their customers to the cloud. I for one would rather have this device where I have my data with me when I need it. SanDisk is doing great things here. There is one thing that bugs me about this Device/App combo. It’s not Smart. The App should recognize the Device is turned on and broadcasting, then pop-up a message asking “The App will now disconnect you from the current WiFi and connect to the SanDisk WiFi. Are you ok with this?” So of course I would say Yes, since I am wanting to work with the Device. When I am done, I close the app, it will Automatically disconnect the SanDisk WiFi and connect me back to my WiFi. That’s it, all done within the SanDisk app. Then turn off your SanDisk Device. But no, at present, you have to go into 2 apps and do multiple steps before you gain access to the WiFi SanDisk drive. Also, connecting by Web Browser is nice, but does not have the features that the app provides. Fixing this oversight would be a boon to your customers.

Would love to see Update

Last update was 3 years ago, isn’t even optimized for new iPhones or iPads resolutions. The app is great though and the device does it’s purpose, use it every day. But update is needed two the app to keep it modern.

I'm glad I bought this

I purchased the Sandisk WIFI because I take loads of videos, and ran out of space on my iPad. I bought the Sandisk WIFI with the exchangeable miniSD card, and have already filled one. I'm glad that Sandisk has provided me with a way to copy files off of my iPad, in a sense increasing my iPad storage. Apple should thank them, since that was a BIG drawback of the iPad, and now people can't have that opposition to buying and using iPad. It took a while to understand how to make use of the various features. I'm still not comfortable with the idea of compressing the video files- I fear that I will lose the detail that I want to keep. I will experiment sometime...... 11/1/018 I've continued to like the Sandisk WIFI, but have recently been having problems charging it. The Sandisk tech was helpful, but the "reset" fix was only temporary. I found out that this type of WIFI (with exchangeable micro SD disc ) is no longer made. I am very disappointed about that. Very disappointed.

iPad and the scan disk don’t communicate

H&^%$

I still can’t get the device to show up on my iPad Bluetooth list. That was the reason I got it. Oh well, an expensive version of a flash drive....

Difficulties no end

Horribly difficult to set up… Still have not succeeded… Unbelievable complications with newer versions available… What is this?
