I am wondering if the authors of this app actually tried the links they advertise for San Francisco Maps? 2 of the 4 maps I tried to download failed to produce any maps; Citywide Muni map and Bikelane map. The idea of downloadable maps is great. Just returned from Sicily and found that I could not use the iphone standard maps because of no internet connection. Would have been nice to have preloaded some maps before the trip. I know these apps are only for cities in the US but if you are going to charge $2.99 for an app, you should make sure the links to the maps are actually working.

This app while a great idea doesn't do as promised. Several of the map links listed don't display or download, you just get a blank screen. Also there is no way to delete a map that you've decided that you don't want as far as I can see (ie the blank ones) and the map selection is very limited and the resolution leaves a little to be desired.

Like the other reviews I found this application problematic. The important maps -- the MUNI system map particularly -- don't load. The links are correct but the application does not display them. Authors should either fix the problem or withdraw the application.

Bought and tried this app, app crashed and locked my iPod touch with 3.0. Promptly deleted app...

This app would be great if it just had current MUNI maps. The maps this app downloads are old and don't show the massive system changes MUNI made in December 2009. The new MUNI maps have been available on MUNI's website for a year. Otherwise, I really like the way this app lets me quickly load, expand, and move around the maps. It's way better in this regard than any of the other PDF viewer apps I have. PLEASE update the maps.

This app does deliver the bottom line: a browsable muni map. However it also puts an ad banner across the map which is insulting for an app that charges $3 just to download. It should be free if it's ad supported. The author also paid little to no attention to detail with the interface. It feels clunky and cheap. I don't recommend this app, but it is the only way I've found in any way to get a real muni map on your iPhone.

As someone who used to live here it's just what I needed. Maps on my phone. No sign up. No location service. No pesky need to know exactly where your getting on or off.
