I enjoyed this app up until the last two weeks... There’s a part of the app that allows you to do new puzzles every six & a half days... However, when you go to see the videos in order to unlock a new puzzle. When I look at my iPad in a horizontal fashion ~ the videos you have to watch themselves in a vertical fashion... I don’t know if it had anything to do w/ this...; this used to not be an issue... please fix this issue.
I can’t play the Samurai Sudoku game on my iPad any more. An ad screen pops up and blocks the screen. The problem is I’m holding screen horizontally and ad runs vertically - so you can’t click or see the close “x”. This is my second review with no response. I used to play without a problem. Now I have to reboot and even that doesn’t always work.
I like the game, but my wife and I found 3 solutions to the first beginner parquet game. I did not know that sudoku games could have more than one solution. However, the game only recognizes one solution, not any of the other solutions.
Once I found the auto fill for notes and the double tap to convert a single remaining note to an entry, it got a lot easier to focus on the strategy. The anti-diagonal version is a really nice twist. Update 2 years later... The sheer variety of board types that have been added since I first discovered this app is lovely. It gives the brain a different mental challenge to figure out the nuances of a new game shape or rules in addition to the usual Sudoku puzzle. This is the only Sudoku app that tempts me back from my preferred Killer Sudoku.
It’s a great app, but this latest update got rid of the 10x10 and 12x12 puzzles >:-(
I love this app and been looking for an app that did this for almost a year. This of course earns it a good. Places where improvements can be made. Enter / Create: This is a function that of course is for the paper people who like to enter their puzzles. This of course would allow for building expansions through social contribution this of course means less work to create a large puzzle base. More Levels: While there are people who could easily breeze through the extreme puzzle there are people who would be discouraged by the beginners levels and it taking two or three days. Extra puzzle type: While again it is supposed to be a clover or samurai puzzle there can easily be modifications for "staircase" puzzles, multiple square conjoined, and simple paired overlap. Conclusion: It is an awesome start. There are avenues for greater user involvement and ways to increase user base. Allowing for greater diversity and user puzzle input will create a larger revenue while allowing you to develop a larger gradation of puzzle difficulty. Remember simple puzzles can be a great way to get more people interesting in the higher levels and simpler puzzles are sometimes just simply relaxing.
