In my entire smartphone possessing life I have NEVER went out of my way to leave a review for anything in the AppStore or the google play store, regardless if I loved it or hated it. But I would be an absolute “Baka” if I didn’t do it right now. If I wrote down what I truly felt about this game this review would rival the length of the game itself. I’ll sum it up like this: to me this game is essentially one of the best manga/books/stories you will ever read, and YOU are the main character. And the further you get, the more immersed you become in the story, all the way up to the point of imagining yourself right in the middle of it all, and the words, thoughts and actions of the main character genuinely feeling as if they are coming from your own mind. The endless ways the story unfolds based on the decisions you choose make for one heck of a mixture of fear/anticipation/regrets/ and excitement that builds up simultaneously as you make your choice and hesitate to push next page to see what unfolds. And the way the choices you make affect the stats your character develops, that then have true affects on things you try to do in the game, ingenious! If you don’t spend the $4 you’re insane. You spend way more than that on a son of a baconator meal at Wendy’s. Plus this won’t make you fat. Can’t wait for the next chapter!

I have nothing bad to say about this game, honestly. I’ve already sung it’s praises to one friend who I think will end up as hooked as I am, and will definitely recommend to others. Worth the money - the story is so captivating and good, and I absolutely adore how interactive it is! So much work had to have gone into it. Definitely will be purchasing the subsequent books!

I thought the story was actually pretty interesting, and it definitely gave me a 'Rurouni Kenshin' feel to it. The humor was really nice and I really did like the protagonist a lot. But I felt that some chapters were incredibly short compared to the others. It was definitely entertaining but the biggest problem I had was the overuse of some Japanese words and how the writer decided to end it off. [Spoilers Ahead] The ending was just awful though and definitely not worth the price it should be. I get that cliff hangers are a strategy to catch the reader's interest in wanting more but it just didn't seem fair for its price. If it was a demo, yeah, but it wasn't. The 'cliffhanger' was definitely a 'Too be continued' but it just didn't feel right since everything felt so short. And for that price? I expected a lot more and hope that the game continues. For free. At least for those who purchased it. It wouldn't be fair if we had to pay for a continuation or if there was none at all.
The ending is confusing

I (somewhat) like the story, because the choices you make tailors what kind of spirit animal you have and your choices also tailor your attune net with your spirit animal. But the ending is SO confusing! Is there going to be a second part or something? Because I didn't get to fight all seven spirits. Does my attunement have to be at 100% or something to continue? Or is that really where it ends?

I enjoyed playing this game. The content was pretty good and had me on the edge of my seat. However, I feel that the chapters were suspiciously short and the ending was somewhat disappointing compared to the beginning . In addition, I don't think this game deserves the $2.99 price tag as it still has more room for improvement .

*SPOILER ALERT* Please please please we need more!!!!! WHY DID U LEAVE OFF AT THE PART WHERE MASASHI IS GETTING KILLED!?!!! PLEASE DON'T KILL HIM PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I LOVE HIM TOO MUCH. AND PLEASE EELEASE BOOK TWO AS SOON AS POSSIBLE PLEASE I BEG IF YOU. Other than that, great, fantastic story I love the characters and the cliffhanger will literally BE a cliffhanger if book two doesn't come out soon.

Okay so this game sounds awesome and I really want to play it, but I get about 5 pages in to where you pick what the bride/groom looks like, and no matter what I pick, the game freezes until I go to stats or back to the menu. When I come back, it's on the next page, but there's no "next" button at the bottom so there's literally no way to continue. I really hope a patch fixes this because I hate paying for things that don't work.
