If you are new to Latin rhythms or have been playing by ear, this app allows you to separate each instrument to really hear their relationship to one another.

I've owned this for a while and just now writing a review. I have always wanted a sort of "clave metronome" but never liked the implementation that other metronomes used since the clave pattern is not anchored with another instrument so you can lose the "1" (important for those new to this music IMO). With this app, you can add a voice identifying the 1 (among other options) so this one takes the cake! I could see this also being useful to dancers and dance instructors alike. Simple to use, an elegant interface, accurate, and, most importantly, USEFUL earns it five stars.
