This app just saved me over $40 on a prescription. Thanks!!

Raised Prices

I used to use this app when it was lowest meds, it was always my go to discount. But since they changed over to retail me not the prices gone up by at least $40. So now I use SingleCare.

Be sure to ALL pharmacies rather than Top Sponsored

Great functionality and it’s great to have pharmacy pricing on the go, but I learned a tough lesson. I sorted pharmacies by price and filled my rx at the least expensive pharmacy shown in the list. However, after filling my medication, I discovered that in the initial results, only large chains are shown. Be sure to tap the ‘Pharmacy not shown?’ button at the bottom of the list. This brought up at least a dozen smaller, local pharmacies where my medicine would have been over $30 less expensive, and some where even closer to my location! I’m not sure if those shown are sponsored listings or not, but I think it’s deceptive that, even when sorted by price, a prescription savings program would not display the lowest priced pharmacies first (even if they aren’t large chains). I will probably look for another solution.

App no longer seems to work.

The GoodRX app works great where I am, but this app is unable to find any prescriptions at all in the area where I am. I thought something was wrong and deleted and re-loaded the app-still no results. I even tried zip-codes where there should be many results, still no results.

Best App for Prescription Discounts

Easy to use. 9 times out of 10 this gives me a lower price than GoodRx or other discount programs. Great for when I’ve not yet met my deductible for the year.

The only real deal

What it comes to discount pharmacy cards, they all turned out to be worthless. After more than half a dozen false starts, I came across Lowest Med. Some medications were costing 2-3 hundred dollars with insurance! Imagine a real discount of 50-80%. Unlike some cards there was no need to sign up or have them take your credit card number for your free membership. They don't even need your name. Get your prescription from your Dr., then go to their website, enter the medication, quantity, dosage along with your zip code. Take a screenshot or print the coupon. It will have all the information you need for your pharmacist. That's it. It appears you can select 5-10 pharmacies in your zip code. It is not a one time deal either. I've used it for over 12 months. Sometimes my insurance is cheaper so I'll take it. But with deductibles and different pricing Lowestmed is always a great deal. If you have high prescription costs and no insurance this is a no brainer.
