This is definitely on the tamer side of the Rusty Lake games. I honestly did not enjoy this one as much as the free Cube Escape series. It was short, not as creepy, did not add much to the lore, and the puzzles simply weren't up to par with Rusty Lake's usual content. For a dollar more, you can get Rusty Lake: Roots. It is much longer and well worth your money. Hotel is still good, just not as great as RL's other stuff.

These Rusty Lake games are unique. I really enjoyed the Cube Escape series. This one is longer as a stand-alone game, but I didn't enjoy it as much. There were still unique puzzles to figure out, but they weren't quite as fun. And I didn't like how the goal of solving the puzzles was to murder the guests. I much prefer the creepy ambience of Cube Escape rather than the blatant gore of Rusty Lake Hotel.
Excellent, demented, and originally

A little less involved than the equally magnificent Rusty Lake Roots, but every bit as well done and engaging. Perhaps I should say "engrossing", because there's plenty of gross to be found in the game. The twisted, ghastly imagery and devilish puzzles transport the player into a dark series of nightmarish vignettes. The puzzles range from relatively straightforward, to bizarre yet somehow logical. You'll have to think way, way outside the box here, and it helps to keep a sharp eye for details along the way. I've completed every one of the related Cube Escape games, Rusty Lake Roots, the hotel and the mill. Looking forward to the next game, well worth every cent.

Love this game! Engaging characters with a hidden dark, macabre, creepy, intelligent narrative-turned-puzzle. Enchanting music that creates a little pit in your stomach wondering what your next tap will bring... (FYI - a few spelling errors in game need to be corrected.)

Cliffhanger! What do you mean to be continued??! There's no plot at all! Just puzzles! Although those are really great. And bit of David lynch style. Please make a sequel SOON! I wanna know what will happen next!!!
