Absolutely love this app!!! But has quite a few mistakes on some of the words and pics, would be great if you can fix that. For example on the coffee pic it says cookie... Otherwise a very cool app

So far so good. One complaint, when I switch to another app, then return, it opens the program as if it were the first time! First didn't bother me, but over time its proven to be very annoying.

Mistakes mistakes!!!

GDSZ34

Coffee is not a cookie and dragonfly is not a ladybug, etc.!!! Terrible mistakes I am not going to risk and give this app to non-russian speaking people; if they remember wrong things I have to reteach them. Not this app! Never!

Well...

It's a really nice app. Lots of useful accurate information, I check with my Russian friend. I'm only giving it 4 however because lots of words are not programed correctly. Example: It does not say the word Orange it says something else, even though you're looking at colors and it's obviously orange...I know enough Russian to recognize errors. Please fix this, I really like this app :)

Minor errors, but a great app overall

I found this app while looking for a way to learn Russian for a university course I'm in. It is very handy and useful, and although it is geared for children, it's great for beginners of any age. That said, I have noticed a few small errors, like how the alphabet only has 32 letters (there are 33 in Cyrilic); the letter X ("ha") is missing. It took me a full semester to notice, however. The sound for pajamas (?) is missing, so if it is silent, it's that one. The word for "Ladybug" (Bozh'ya Korovka) is represented by a Dragonfly (Strekoza). Some of the images have sounds associated with them (which are annoying, and can't be turned off), and some do not. Animals, for example have animal noises in most cases, which makes it harder to focus on language. Several pictures of trucks which represent very different kinds of trucks don't really stand out in your mind. I have also used the E Flash Apps version of this app for German, and appears much more polished. Overall, it is a fun and useful app to play with/study when you have five minutes to kill. I have recommended it to my classmates, and would gladly pay for an upgraded or debugged version that had more categories and the ability to turn off sound effects.

Not too bad

Mistakes are upsetting. They should have natives checking the product. The grouping of words does not make sense sometimes. Overall if fixed, this app is nice.
