Good app. Easy to make a couple of improvements though: - why do I need a speed sensor to detect when I stopped if the smartphone has a GPS?!? - I hit the FINISHED button by accident and there was no way to ADD to the "completed" session. - give me an easier way to provide feedback and help you improve. Thanks

This app does lots more than I need it to do. My wife and I cycle fairly regularly and it works really well. A great way to keep track of your workouts.

You don't know how easy it is to pause a session then accidentally hit finish rather than resume. There should at least be an extra step that says 'are you sure you want to complete this session'. So aggravating.

Zero support for paid app and that's just the tip of the iceberg of this developer 's contempt of their users. I paid $7-8 for it and every two sessions, it pops up a nag for a five star review. AND ads block the user interface to promote the rest of their garbage. Also bags to sign up for their useless social BS. Here is 1/5 of the dev's request.

Just what I needed!! An app that keeps track of my distance, speed, route, AND offers other routes in my area!!

There are some peculiar wrinkles with this app. For example, to have flagged routes that you have put together or ridden to consult on the iPhone, one must go to the web site, click on the ride, click on the route and save it. THEN you can flag it which will put it on your iPhone but ONLY if you have the Gold level. However, I dropped the Gold and the routes already downloaded stayed. Also, I stopped to take a phone picture and didn’t realize it automatically paused the app. Now, this makes sense but missed logging part of the ride on the app because I didn’t start it when I restarted, this is not automatic. Since I use a hard wired cyclcomputer also, I know my exact riding time and distance. A user can go into the ride on the web site and edit the ride particulars — another reviewer mentioned he had forgotten to restart the app when he began riding again. Because it doesn’t have auto stop/start I won’t give this 5 stars but would give it 4.5 if I could. Another thing to realize is the altimeter is actually a barometer, which is true of all altimeters. That means if the weather is changing, the altimeter readings are unreliable. For example, I rode a flat rails-to-trails ride when a storm front was approaching. Although the trail was flat, I was shown climbing over 600 ft in 3 miles. Also riding a loop, the altitude gain should equal the altitude loss when you get back to your starting point, but it seldom does. This is not a defect of the app but users should be aware that the gain/loss is approximate at times. The battery life w/ the screen on is true. The solution is to lock the unit which turns the screen off. You can also now use the <battery> in Settings on iPhones to switch on low power mode which still has all the functions working but turns off background apps but turning off the screen still saves the most--doing this I was able to do a 4 hr ride, normally impossible. If you know where you are going, leave it off. I recommend doing both low power mode and lock the screen. If you need some map guidance, only leave it on occasionally when you need the map. Voice prompts work w/ screen off. It’s the screen map that kills the battery since this overrides any auto screen shutoff you may have set up. I was 45 minutes out when I got the low battery warning but turning off the screen, I made it back with the full ride logged and IPhone only down to 10% battery. I will say that the web site is a great complement to the app giving me all kinds of stats, even without the Gold package. I think the app continues to be better to use, now that I’ve gone through several updates with data on heart rate zones and hill zones right in the app. Still wish they had auto start/stop without having to buy and attach the cadence sensor. I know they can do it because my other Runtastic app, the "regular" Runtastic app does when I'm walking but I'm guessing they want to sell us the cadence sensor. I love that at the end of a ride it automatically uploads to the online app.
