Would be awesome if they could come up with software solutions to resolve some of the issues that require add on BT hardware. Even if the software solution isn’t as good as the hardware solution, it would be something.

Started using the app with great pleasure. Found that if I switch screens, it will pause or stop my ride completely. Would much rather having the option to run in the background and use more battery than NOT having an option. Would love if I could get directions on the app itself so I wouldn’t need to switch out of the app and onto google maps. Otherwise great.

Does the job well for road cycling. Integrates with the other Runtastic apps for other workouts. It would be even better if we can have the option of showing pictures taken during the ride on the route map so people can see then click it from Facebook.

Foolishly downloaded Pro version.... it will not let me create an account and therefore I am unable to use the app.

The app connects to gps on my iPhone and keeps track of where I go and how fast no need for a cycling computer

I phone X form factor still not supported more than 3 months after release, even though the app has been updated twice.

I’ve used this “Pro” version for a couple of years and have noted various shortcomings such as not being able to search or D/L sessions (that requires a big annual subscription), no “auto-pause” option such as their walking app sports. Additionally, it’s very quirky in whether it speaks the summary at ride-end. I DO appreciate they’ve updated it so it works on newer iOS and my new phone but those upgrades don’t in my mind justify being pestered with every minor update to rate the app a 5. Runtastic, if you want me to rate you higher, don’t ignore user complaints about features, bugs and quirkiness, year after year.

I was looking for a mileage tracker for my road bike today. I discovered your application and it’s great. Took my cat eye off my bike and gave it to a friend.
A few tweaks would make it great

Overall, I like this app a lot. Two suggestions, though: Elevation needs to be more accurate. When you live at sea level. It’s glaring how far off it is. Time of day should be an option on the main dashboard, IMO.
