My fitness pal copy

Rowensai

Seriously, if your going to do the same thing as somebody else add something! Number one request, the ability to set custom BMR. Nobody does that yet. I regularly get my BMR tested and would love to have an app using that information rather then having to do the math on the fly. What? I have libra scale yet I need to enter my weight!?! What? No weight graph? Come on if I'm part of your world don't make me open 7 apps to get everything you offer.

Kinda A Bummer

I’ve been looking for a good food tracking app, and I was excited to see that runtastic had come out with one because I very much enjoy their other apps. However, when I set this up and started tracking the food I was eating today, it only let me log about 2 items before the search function stopped working. Now, I can hardly type anything before an error message pops up! I have tried opening/closing the app and logging in/out of my account, but to no avail. I’ll keep the app downloaded on my phone though to see if the bug is fixed in a future update.

Still some bugs

Looks promising but it looks like the lose weight goal is not working. Every time I set my goal weight it never saves. I would also like to see more from the plans than just an overview.

Not ready for prime time. Installed and began tracking meals. Within just a few hours, the app began failing...searching endlessly....timing out...failing to find foods like “tomato”.... There appear to be plenty of alternatives to this app (which I don’t see interfacing with things like Apple Health). Look elsewhere.

Get MyFitnessPal

The ability to scan bar codes in myfitnesspal is such a time saver. I made two entries in this app then immediately went back to myfitnesspal. Runtastic is great. This is not up to that standard.

MyFitnessPal, but not as good

Deadpiccolo

This app is pretty much MyFitnessPal, except you can't decide how many calories you would like to eat per day. It just gives you a number based on whether you want to lose weight, gain weight, or be healthy. You can't even input how much weight you'd like to lose per week. Overall, this app was quite underwhelming, albeit prettier than MFP.

Needs a barcode scanner!

Cirianara

Desperately needs a barcode scanner and the ability to input recipes. Logged one meal and went back to My Fitness Pal solely for this reason.

What?

Angelemilyed

I really wanted to love this app but it refuses to let me log my food. Just pops up with a notification saying something went wrong try again later

Needs work

I've been tracking my intake for a few years with other apps; hoped this app would be something I could recommend because I love Runtastic. Not yet. I eat a similar breakfast daily, but here I need to search every item (7 of them) every day because the app doesn't have a mechanism to copy the items to or from a different day. The same goes for my homemade smoothie snacks. Too time consuming! No restaurant menus either. It did find a cold medication, but not my vitamins nor my allergy meds. I love seeing my weight and goal weight side by side and the numerical difference calculated between it showing me how much I still need to lose. I also like the idea of plans, but these don't help me much with or without my strong dietary restrictions. They are more like tips, just tips. I track my water intake, but can't here. This app has a way to go before it's useful.
