I have been using this app for years, and the new version, which allows you to pay a small fee once and skip ads forever, is a great improvement. Knowing when the slow times in a film are to happen is invaluable, and I always check this app before seeing any movie. Highly recommended.

Already Paid and Getting Charged Again

I paid for this app a couple years ago and now you change the way it works to charge me again. It is ridiculous since I already paid and now you try and charge me to buy coins to check times. I am going to use my free coins and then I will be gone. I’m especially mad because I have told people to get this app in the past. So I have helped spread the word about your app and then I feel a little betrayed.

I use it EVERY time I go to a movie. Being able to “go” and get an excellent synopsis of what is going on while you are away really makes a movie more enjoyable, plus I love knowing if there is anything worth seeing during or after the credits. The reviewers also give a very useful review for many of the movies & I find the reviews right on the mark. There had been a lot of chatter about the new peecoin system. You get what you PAY for. Yes I bought the app several years ago - don’t remember what I paid for it but it was very inexpensive. Why do ppl expect that you get forever access to new information for free?? The reviewers must pay to watch the movies with no additional compensation EVER?! I like to be compensated for the work that I do & certainly don’t mind paying someone to provide a service to me. You don’t pay or watch ads- you don't get the information. Simple.

This app has an overall rating of 3.8 stars out of 5. Yet when you look at all of the newest reviews, there’s a massive string of them that are all 5 stars. That should tell you that something’s fishy. I believe that the developer is paying to have, or submitting fake positive reviews themselves ever since they changed the payment format of this app. Just read the titles of all of the most recent reviews. Never in all my years using the App Store have I ever seen so many review titles that absolutely gush over an app like these do, one after another after another. The reviews themselves are just as fake sounding and many just so happen to encourage users to buy the lifetime coin option. We used to have to watch one add to use this app, but now are forced to buy virtual coins with real money for every movie we want to look at. Or watch ads to earn coins, but it all requires giving them our email, which they more than likely sell to other advertisers, resulting in an inbox full of spam. I’ve known developers to use fake reviews before, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen one go as far as this one. I rarely go to the bathroom during a movie in the theater, so I didn’t use this for that, but did use it to check for scenes after the credits so we didn’t waste our time waiting. Even so, I always thought the whole concept of this app was a great idea. But I refuse to support such crooked behavior from a dev. APP UNINSTALLED!

Don’t believe all the recent 5 star reviews that are obviously fake. If you update the app you will now have to watch ads to earn pee coins in order to view any pee-times. Used to be a great truly free app. Sadly that is no longer the case.

The previous poster who wrote that there are fake reviews lately is simply incorrect. I am in no way associated with the app developer, nor am I being paid in anyway by anybody to post my review. Obviously, the person claiming fake reviews is really mad about having to pay pennies for movie pee times. All I can say to them is that if you think everything should be free, then you’re always going to be sadly disappointed. RunPee is an awesome app. Pure and simple. It’s easy to use, and the creators are spot-on at picking good bathroom break times and doing excellent summaries of what happens while you are out. I start it with every movie that I see. Even if I don’t use it during the show, it’s nice to have. An old friend of mine pointed me to this app, and I’ve been thanking him ever since. Compared to what movie tickets cost, or even worse, snacks, pennies for movie pee times is really pretty good. So get your popcorn and tank up on soda, because with this app you can enjoy all of it and not worry about missing a thing.

Loved the original, hate the newest pay to get play version. Understood watching ads in order to use. Now to pay to use? Uninstalled! Disappointed.
