Thank you!

Thank you so much for seamlessly allowing Apple Watch runs to export to Strava!

Syncing to Strava

hook002

I prefer to use the Apple Workout app to track my runs because it is rock solid and supports all of the options like cadence and an external heart monitor. Since the reporting is so weak in Apple’s activity app, I use RunGap to sync to Apple Health and push to Strava. I turn off Strava writing to Health to avoid duplicates and even filter out walking so it only tracks mileage on my running shoes. Since version 2.37 RunGap automatically does a background refresh after my runs and automatically pushes the results to Strava.

Perfect App

Runkeeper was crashing on my Apple Watch, so I switched to Strava. Moving all of my run data was so easy with this app. I’ve been keeping both Strava and Runkeeper up to date using this, as there are features I like on each. Takes only a few seconds after every run. Couldn’t recommend this more highly.

Transfer to Strava

Why does it change the splits and sometimes not upload the map? The splits are a huge part of running and sometimes it changes them by 10 or 20 seconds which is a HUGE difference

Description said update fixes crashes but it wasn’t crashing until the update. Thanks for listening 4 stars because you all usually get it right. Back to 5 soon...

Been using this app for a few months now and it gets the job done. Until today after the software update, it keeps crashing. Cannot share stats anymore.

NRC and Runkeeper

I’m a long time Garmin watch user but recently switched to the iWatch 5. I was bouncing back and forth with the native apple workout app and the Nike Run Club app. I use Runkeeper and NRC to log/view my runs. I found that syncing from NRC/Apple Workout to Runkeeper the data was off (Runkeeper’s fault). I found this pretty frustrating and took me a while to figure out the right system.. but I finally figured it out. If you use the apple workout app, sync to Garmin using RunGap. Then connect Runkeeper and NRC with Garmin (not with rungap). Once synced with Garmin, it will auto update Runkeeper and NRC with accurate data. This works great now. I don’t even have to open the app.. and I get accurate data in both NRC and Runkeeper.

Great app, great support

This app does the job that either Apple or 3rd parties are not willing to do: transferring workout data from Health from/to different platforms. I use it to export my Apple workouts to TrainingPeaks and it works like a charm. Kristian is incredibly helpful and responsive in case there is support needed. For me, this app is the gold standard in terms of price, usability and customer focus.

Much needed app if you’re serious about training!

The Real Peabody

I can only speak to cycling! But here: I signed up with an online coach who can do batch analysis on my workouts in Training Peaks. I have been (and plan to in the future) logging everything in Strava. RunGap allows me to upload my Strava data into Training Peaks. You need to pay a small charge for the upload but it works flawlessly. After I got help from their AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE - shout out to Kristian in Denmark. I’m very happy with RunGap - so glad I found it!!!
