I used run double for the couch to 5K program three years ago. The GPS feature was great and reliable. I decided to do the program again and the GPS is now completely unreliable. I will be looking for a new app. Run Double, I'm very disappointed in your lack of updates for a paid app.
Love the music interface, the programs and open runs on days I’m just wanting track my activity. I like the stats and immediate feedback. Only tweak would be to remind the user to finish the run. For example if I’m on the phone and then get into my car and don’t remember to click Finish Run it keeps tracking my run and skews the data for that day?.
I used this app a lot when I had an android phone. Loved it. Worked great. Since switching to iOS, it seems as if there are no announcements when the screen is locked, and no setting to tell it to keep the screen from locking. So when your screen locks, the app essentially stops doing what it is designed to do. My phone is a work device, so disabling the screen lock isn’t an option for me, but some apps are able to prevent the screen from locking. It’s a bummer because the Android version was really great.
I bought this app and it used to work great. Now it can't find location. Hot garbage and unsupported my devs, it's really unfortunate because it worked well when it ran.
I used this app on my crappy old android phone for a few years and totally loved it. I had purchased several running plans on it (which is saying something for a cheapskate like me!) and made it through weeks 7 and 8 several times over the years. Loved that I could run without music playing and track my progress on gps maps, and that there is nothing weight-loss or appearance focused about the platform - I’m in recovery from disordered eating and that sort of stuff can make or break my attempts at taking care of myself. Unfortunately, I just got an iPhone and am finding the app non functional for me in this format. I can’t hear the transition sounds (too quiet even when I turn volume up), and even though I have set the phone to vibrate on transitions it won’t. So, I’ll have to give some other apps a shot for getting my run on.
I’ve had problems with the app and I’ve sent numerous emails and nobody ever responded. These guys probably don’t actually exist anymore. Do not buy this app.
Location is not detecting, option to ‘report a problem’ is not working. I’m stuck with an ap that doesn’t work. I’d like my money back but not sure how to get it since none of the ‘contact’ options work either.
I’ve been using the app and paid to do the C25K program. It stopped working with the new iOS (which developers have had access to for testing and development for months now). I contacted Run Double twice and have gotten no response, so now I’m having to use another app. I am very disappointed.
I had been using this app for a long time but gps just stopped working. No response to my request for help
I love RunDouble and have used it for years. Recently I’ve had a problem where the new interval is not being announced unless I unlock my iPhone. Is there a setting that can be adjusted?
