Does not update, even on the website

gotexaslonghorns

This app is very frustrating. I tried to sync my Garmin info to it, nothing. I’m not sure if it’s because they have the links confused (the garmin connect link icon is not the same as the actual garmin connect app icon). When I try to update or change my schedule, nothing seems to happen. This is even when I update on the website directly-does not even change on the website. Finally, the app needs to update to allow for dark mode. I can’t see the text in the options menus.

Does not work well with Apple Watch

Every run reverts back to an “Easy Run”. No matter how many times I edit the workout to long run or speed run within minutes it’s back to easy run.

Kindof a tracker?

The app has designated from former races I submitted that my pace should be much slower than what I’m averaging for the past 3 weeks. (30-60 seconds per mile slower.) and yet it hasn’t calibrated. When I say that I “completed the assignment” it says that my pace was much slower than what it actually was, even when I submitted my time and duration of run. When I do MORE than my plan for the week, it says in red letters that I’m “OFF TARGET” for the week. I like the running distance suggestions and types of runs...but that’s about it. All in all, it’s quite a discouraging app.

Not great. Not very versatile. Can’t edit very much. For example, I put in a time for a race I ran. When I realized I typed it incorrectly I couldn’t change it. The training plan is based on your previous times, so it is kind of annoying.

Good app kind of glitchy

I really like the content of the app. Only complaint is that I have experienced a few glitches. It will pause on me mid run while I do some of the track workouts through the app. It also will continue to time me after I have completed the assigned distance every now and then (for a substantial amount of time at that). Otherwise I love it for training.

Useless

1. Doesn’t stay connected to Garmin. Requires frequent resyncing. Have not been able to keep it connected long enough to know if it will synchronize data or not. 2. Doesn’t import data from Strava (if synced to Strava instead of Garmin) 3. Without accurate data, continuous refinement and customization of training plans is impossible. 4. The extent of customer service is, “I’ll get my team right on that.” In short, don’t bother.

the app wouldn't load at all...and when it fid it would crash

Should be called runask not runcoach

My coach has been very reactive and not proactive. There was no reason for me to pay beyond the free trial. My plan has remained the same and my coach has been absent. I confronted my coach about her reactive ness and gave me the definition of a coach and how a personal coach would cost $150/week. Needless to say it was not helpful and she ignored my overall complaint of my program being stagnate with no new changes outside of the two week free trial. Very disappointed

Fantastic Coaches

(Update) - Been using this app for more than six months and seen a lot of improvement. Definitely works for me. Even had a recent injury from another sport and my coach was able to adjust things so I didn’t lose a lot of my gains. Never thought I’d complete a 5k and I now feel like I could do a 10k easily. Decided, instead of month by month, to just go with the full year. Running has become something i really enjoy. Who knew? I agree with Lepetitmont. I used Nike up until the pandemic. I never could get Nike to sync right and it simply won’t adapt or even record runs sometimes. I have unlimited data so it’s an app issue. I got really upset when it seemed they were far more interested in pushing product than making the app work. I just did a search and came across RunCoach and decided to give it a shot since my regular training at my gym wasn’t possible and I found myself running more. Run coach is far superior. It has pushed me to reach goals I didn’t think I could reach. Highly recommend. I find it can even handle the split training which Nike made it sound like it was impossible. No more running with my phone in my hand. Worth it just for that.

Not letting me start a plan

The app keeps crashing on me so I'm unable to start using it
