"Double Trouble" is "Royal" Fun!

KimTwilight69

Our favorite royal couple are back for another captivating adventure full of crazy antics, humorous dialogue, and action-packed drama! The storyline maintains my attention as it evolves; and this is a rare occurrence within the hidden-object-adventure genre in which the majority of storylines blend into each other, failing to present distinct and novel ideas. The characters portray caricature-like appearances, which suit the quirky tone of the storyline and complement their whimsical personalities. Our Princess is daring and sassy, quick to tackle any obstacle blocking her goals; equally, our Prince is a charming daredevil who defies the forces of nature by performing impressive stunts to return to his beloved Lady. The audio dialogue is silent and devoid of typical voice-overs; you hear the frequent interruptions of the narrator, as he directs your attention back and forth between the dynamic duo. I find myself laughing at the hysterical exchanges of jocular banter and snarky retorts between characters; this sense of playfulness helps in avoiding dullness and contributes towards fostering an emotional connection to them. The music is lively, with an upbeat tempo that fits into the light-hearted atmosphere. The graphics are exquisite; even though the illustrations are cartoonish, the details are sharp and clear. You can choose between three modes of difficulty; custom mode is not available. There is no teleport map; however, one is unnecessary since you perform tasks in about two locations at a time before switching over to the other character to do the same. Inventory is labeled; items require minimal assembly. Transition is smooth, and locations are labeled as you travel. The puzzles are varied and fun. The solutions of such might solve a predicament, and they can be slightly challenging at times. You discover one collection set, which blends into the background very well. I really hope that this series continues. There is an innocence about it that lifts my spirit up and carries me away to a place that I no longer visit . I appreciate this unique diversion away from the overwhelming horror-themed games that dominate this genre. I look forward to the next one!

We enjoyed playing this games just as much as we enjoyed the first Royal Trouble game. Nice, casual game with a cute, witty story and relaxing games. My young daughter really enjoyed playing the game with me. She was able to do many of the games by herself. Nice way to spend time together. Please create a third game. We can't wait!
