Royal Flush: Poker Dice Free

Roll dice to form poker hands. After each roll the re-roll some or all of the dice. Just drag the dice to the re-roll area at the top of the screen. After 3 rolls choose a poker hand and score. Each poker hand will vary in value between 0 and 300 points depending on what poker hand is visible on the dice.

A player scores 1, 2 or 3 times for each type of poker hand (i.e High Card, Pair ... Straight Flush) with the exception of Royal Flushes. Multiple Royal Flushes may be scored in the Royal Flush category. After scoring the maximum number of times in each category the game is over and high score is recorded.

Why does it want my location so badly?

There's a grain of a decent Yahtzee-like game in here, but two major issues need to be addressed. First, the game constantly wants to know my location. Why? How does that affect the game? And if I refuse, it asks again after EVERY SINGLE TURN. And if I break down and say okay, then the next time I run the game, it starts asking again!! Sheez! The second issue is more fundamental, and that's the fact that you can only look at your scoresheet when actually entering a score, so that around midgame you have to start memorizing what scoring rolls are still open. Bottom line: needs work.

The mechanics of playing the game were beyond me. I could not figure out how to exclude dice from a reroll. After two rolls, the game would not allow any more rolls. Or any more play. I was baffled. Technically, the game description presents no evidence that the representations of dice are physically realizable. The game should specify the indicia configuration of the dice, in other words, which card indices are on each die. The annoying ads and irritating demands for user location alone should merit zero stars. Don't spend app badge real estate on this game.
