Cribbage is a unique card game for two players that involves playing and grouping cards to gain points. The goal of Cribbage is to be the first to score 121 points. The Cribbage board is used to show the score accumulated by each player during the play of a game (front peg) and the amount of the latest incremental score.
Points are scored for combinations of cards either occurring during the play or occurring in a player's hand or in the cards discarded before the play, which form the crib.
The main combinations are 15, Pair, Royal Pair, Double Royal Pair, Run and some other combinations.

I would go with a different cribbage app. Possibly cribbage board pro. It's free and it does not have a distracting hand flying across the screen. I find this disrupting. I know how to play cribbage I don't need a hand flying across the screen. If you want to learn cribbage you may want to start here as it explains the counts but so do other apps.

This game gives 2 points for every "31" in the "Crib" ... which is not part of the regular game. It also doesn't allow the color of the scoring pins to be changed, and my color-blind eyes can't see the difference between mine and my opponent's. It doesn't provide an option to turn off "make a play" and "put one in the crib" flying hints ... which become annoying after a while ... when you want to think.

This does NOT have retina graphics, the card animations are slow and distracting, and there is no (obvious) way to retrieve a card accidentally thrown to the Crib. I will keep looking for a good cribbage game for the iPad.

I have been playing cribbage most of my life, love the game. Even though I'm playing the free version, I wish there was a way to check scoring. I just had a hand with the right suited jack as the cut and the game failed to give me my extra point. There should be a way to check/dispute scoring.

I have played cribbage all my life, mostly with my mom. Since she went to be with The Lord, I have found very few who know how to play. This is a very well constructed game. I have so enjoyed playing! Thank you so much!
