This program is great. It is fun and intuitive. I have only been using Rosetta Stone for 4 months. I purchased the 24 months online subscription. They method of learning is perfect and the games and storybooks really take your learning that much further. I wish they would expand the social portion, as I would like the opportunity to chat more with other learning as well. I would recommend this to anyone and I have on a daily basis.

Not optimised for mobile devices. Serious usability issues. They clearly grabbed their desktop app, dumped it on iOS and called it an app. I really regret having paid such an expensive subscription for such poor UX design. Objects are too small to tap on. Some graphics are too small to read clearly. Very frustrating. It all gets in the way of learning.

It’s a wonderful software, but the sections that require speaking, quite laughably, leave much to be desired as I was able to say words nowhere close to what was asked and still receive a passing grade. One of the pronunciations asked for the spoken syllable “ra”, and after several times of saying it exactly it asked me to and failing I got mad and said “mother f***er!” instead. That, apparently, was what they were looking for as the software considered it to be correct i.e. a green circle and a positive “you win!” sound. For what Rosetta Stone promises (and the amount customers are paying to use the software) this shouldn’t be an issue. It is though, and needs to be addressed ASAP. tl;dr: “Blahblahblah” is considered proper Arabic in the R.S. system.

This seems like a good app but I wish they would tell you what it means in your own language so you can associate the words but instead they just show you pictures. Please allow there to be an option of knowing that the word means in your own language
