Doesn’t include major companies such as DISH and Comcast. That’s like 70 percent of your market folks... 5 stars once I can actually use it.

Add Comcast! The larger cable provider in the area not even on here. Useless app until they add Comcast.

The fact that you can’t log in with Comcast, or airplay to a tv is just old fashioned. Add in the fact that it always freezes and is delayed is just an embarrassment

I left a review in August 2018. I pointed out that Root was not doing well at showing customer appreciation. Root Sports asking customers ask their own networks to add Root sports? PNW Sports fans desperate to watch games and LAZY Root Sports. Like a couple people are going to get a big company such as Comcast to carry Root just because they asked. Please. If Root wants a bigger viewer-ship they will work for it. As I noted in my last review, the cable industry is dying. If Root continues to rely on a extremely small and select number of carriers, Root will die too. No one wants that. Root covers the Mariners and the Sounders and many other PNW sports teams. The Seattle Sounders Organization realizes this lack of viewership of Root Sports as well. In addition to Root the Sounders have have given their steaming rights to YouTube TV. What are we doing Root Sports?? You have fans willing to use/pay for your channel. Find a way to take advantage of it. And please don’t give me an automated response like you did to the last review I left. It’s extremely unbecoming and in this day and age, unprofessional.

Smell the roses and start selling access or experience the fall of another business model. Cable/Satellite will never get another dime from me.

Greetings Ooyala devs and community manager, it has been a while since we last spoke. I hope you have had time to update your copy and paste response. The lack of cable provider support does not fall on the customer. Comcast, a carrier which you do not support, is a $182 billion company. Frontier Communications, another major carrier you don’t support, is a $200 million company. If you are going to suggest that a single customer is going to have one iota of influence over these companies, then you are clearly not acknowledging the real issue. I suggest you the developer and your parent company AT&T allow streaming for these competitors instead of trying to drive people to DirectTv. If you don’t plan on doing any of these things, please just admit it in your response. Say, we don’t allow competitors to stream our content. Don’t pussyfoot around it for another season missleading customers that support will come if they just reach out to their cable company. I look forward to your response.

Why would the root sports app exist without access for users with Xfinity? The majority of the users in the NW area have Xfinity. It’s like having toothpaste with no toothbrush.

This app might be great for about 6 people. Otherwise useless. And it’s not our job to convince the cable/satellite companies that 90% of us use to get onboard; it’s yours.
