When I use this app I feel like I am on HGTV. U should be able to get furniture and patterns like I see online websites though. I highly recommend this app for making and designing homes.??very pleased.

This is a great little app. Great for simple designs. Small learning curve, but after a couple of hours with it, I became quite proficient. It's a great way to illustrate the possibilities in space design. I'm upgrading to the paid version.

Great app for home design/renovation

I started with the free version of this app to see how I liked it and now I love it! I upgraded to the paid version. I now have a whole house layout on it. It is helping a lot with renovation and allows me to show people the layout idea for different rooms with ease. One of the best parts is that you can configure measurements for everything including wall thickness. The walk through part in 3D is great. It works basically like a video game. And you can also pick colors and materials in 3D mode. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars is because I have had this app for 3 days and it has crashed 5 times. The other thing is that I also wish that it gave you the ability to configure outdoor space down to fencing and landscape. That would really be awesome!!
Do NOT get if you want to save your work

I should have listened to the warning of one of the previous reviews- I spent about 2.5 hours on a design, careful not to close the app for fear that it would erase everything, but that's exactly what happened anyway! I responded to a text and went back to the app, and my design was gone. DO NOT GET THIS APP unless you're either willing to pay 10 freakin dollars for nothing or don't care if your hard work is saved or not. If I could give 0 stars I would.

First of all, you have to buy it in order to save your work. This app has a to of cool features. What it lacks in freedom, it makes up in in options, usability, and graphics. It does take a long while to get use to everything, but just like the Sims... Once you start you are hooked. It does need a FAQ section and a lot more creative options, but overall this app is wonderful. I use it for fun and for deciding on styles for my future home. I love that you can take it outside, hit the gyroscope and then literally walk yourself through the home you just designed! Very cool!

Downloaded the free version because I didn't plan on saving anything, but it won't even let you CREATE a plan without buying the full version.

I was very disappointed in your app because it did not save my work. I spent over five hours designing the house. I should not have to spend ten dollars just to save my work. You need to make the free version save your work. Please make these changes! Thanks

I have owned and used the desktop Chief Architect applications for years and have been a huge fan since the first version I purchased. I was expecting great things from this app (full version). Unfortunately I was a little disappointed. First the good stuff: The app runs amazingly fast on my iPad Pro and the 3D rendering is instantaneous. Drawing 90 degree walls is a piece of cake. I personally found most, but not all, of the features fairly intuitive to use. For just general use, the app is sufficient for the average user who wants to creat basic square roomed house plans. Now the bad stuff: My number one complaint is that you can't adjust the height of individual walls nor can you delete individual walls. Extremely frustrating if you want some room walls to be shorter than others such as half height walls or stub walls. I would give this app the full five stars if they would add these features. The app is EXTREMELY STINGY with the objects in the libraries and $3 a pop for new libraries is ridiculous considering each add-on library only has 5 or 6 really usable objects and the others are just crap. The app does not have any type of roof tool. Competitive apps have this feature for the same or less money. Bottom line, this is an ok app for $10 but there are a couple marginally better for the same or only slightly more money. But this could be an awesome app with just a few tweaks and new features.
