How should I understand 11:15 = 165 ?!?

I have to view the tutorial at some point in every game and even then, I don't understand how some clues translate to numerical codes.

How do the clues work

Double tap objects in inventory to “look” at them. Check things/spaces/places twice+ You can add two items together if you are looking at the correct one. Mr. Y/Mild Escape are some of my favorite games!
