This app fails to perform the most basic functions. The Developers should remove this app from the App Store as it only hurts their reputation and creates unsatisfactory user experiences.

Hangs on loading a game. That’s it, you never get to actually use the app or play. To the developer, please update the app to fix this. This has happened in both Dungeon World and DnD 5e games for me.

If you don’t already have a game it is a blank worthless page with nothing to do. I am a GM looking to start an online game since I live in a very small town so not much interest in playing D&D. I was really hoping this could do something but it is totally worthless.
I guess it could be fun.

I see what the developers were going for here, they tried to make the ipad into some kind of roll20 map viewer while somebody used a pc to control the game. Cool. But it doesn't work. I'd be fine using this app if I could join a game THAT WAS NOT IN A PHYSICAL ROOM WITH ME. And support for this game is limited. My players were thinking of using this app while I sat at the pc in another room, but it isn't on android OR EVEN IPHONE. I cannot imagine it being very difficult to port an IOS app to another IOS device using THE EXACT SAME VERSION AS IOS. Cool idea guys, but it was executed like a british monarch, badly.

For all the people who want to play Roll20 in an app, this is not it. You can't see maps, you can't create *anything,* and you can do very little in-game play-wise. So thats a total bummer. As a DM this app is good to use as reference as you are using the desktop version. On your ipad you can pull up player stats, check your notes, check the compendium all without messing with the desktop version. You *can't* edit or create notes or handouts or things of that matter, which is not very handy. At this point the app seems to be stable, fortunately. It would be nice if it were a little more useful.

I want this to work. Seems like a recurring issue that it gets stuck on the loading screen. If it’s because of a game setting, please update the app to check that setting first or not to display games that aren’t compatible. Please fix, contact me if I can help somehow.

Just like everyone else I’m very disappointed in this app. It is true what everyone is saying, that after you login it sits on loading forever. I still haven’t actually got in to my game. The app hasn’t been updated in over year and it shows. ***UPDATE*** I’m not sure why but the app has started working. Most of the items from the web site are here in the app and all your info is easy to edit. I’m going to raise my rating from a 1 to a 3 Star. I still think it has stability issues and the UI is still a bit clunky.
