I saw a commercial for this app that said it has a button to listen to the tv from your phone but it does not. Other than that it works just like the remote

The remote portion itself is helpful. When I’ve already paid full price for the television, I don’t expect to be bombarded with ads when using a remote. Ridiculous.

I downloaded this after becoming more and more frustrated with the official Roku app. The official app was constantly crashing or refusing to recognize my Roku TV. The Rokie app works like a dream by comparison. I’ve had zero issues with it. It always works and at just $1.99 to permanently remove the ads, it’s a perfect alternative to the lackluster and buggy Roku version.
