Latest update stopped working with Face ID on iPhone X

I’ve used RoboForm for years on iPhone, Mac, and Windows. It’s a good product, especially when used with RoboForm Everywhere, but their testing team seems to miss bugs in their new releases and their support team can be slow to resolve problems.

The latest app update states “Improved Face ID support for iPhone X”. Well if you call removing the ability to use Face ID to login on iPhone X, they nailed it. I’m back to using a Pin to login. Please fix the issue. Thx a long time and loyal customer.
Face ID is not working

Face ID stopped to work with the latest update. First, the app started to ask for master password by itself (no changes by my in settings). Attempts to change settings to Face ID, required to enter master password, then says “Touch ID is confirmed” (not Face ID!!!) and then... ask master password again to login. Really annoying!!!

Updated to 5 stars...thank you for fixing quickly - great tech support. Face/Touch ID no longer works. I must use master password even after enabling Touch ID.

I’ve been using this program for over a decade, and have considered switching to a competitor several times because RoboForm did not always have the most competitive feature set. However, they continue to improve the program, and now offer most of the things I care about, such as two-factor authentication, emergency access in the event something happens to me, text encryption, selective password sharing, etc, so I remain a satisfied customer. One of my biggest complaints used to be that you could not export the login credentials to an Excel file, which made it time-consuming to switch to a competitive program. This almost caused me to switch (more than once) before I put even more effort and data into RoboForm. Ironically, now that they have that feature, I have no reason not to continue to use RoboForm because I know that I could switch easily in the future if I so chose. And, knowing that RoboForm is also aware of this makes me feel confident that they will continue to be competitive with other platforms.
FaceID doesn’t work

Disappointed with the most recent 8.5.3 which apparently you state supports Face ID. I tried in settings to use FaceID and every time it goes back to master password as the unlock option under security option of Settings. Previous version used to work well for FaceID though! This one is useless! You guys better fix it or else I’m going elsewhere. I’m a long time user! Update as on 1/1/18- a new update was just made available 8.5.4 and it says it fixes the aforesaid issue. Tried and it seems to work for now. Updating my ratings to 4-Star. Hope it continues to work and they provide the same level of listening to customer reviews and timely updates.
