If you want to get started with stocks wether you plan on doing personally or eventually have a broker do it for you, it’s still great way to get an understanding of how stocks work and why it works. I highly recommend this app

I’ve been using Robinhood for about 6 months now, and I couldn’t be happier. As a first time investor, it was very easy to learn the ropes and I’ve managed to earn about $250 just by spending a few minutes a day on the app and slowly putting more and more money in each week. Highly recommend this app, especially with how well the market is doing right now.

They don’t response to any questions or problems you have with account until unless 4 or more weeks later. They Charged unnecessary fees which they don’t disclose. Other than bad customer service, they are ok since they don’t charge any amount when you buy stock and that’s the only reason I am giving them 1 star.

Weak app. No innovation. Buggy. At its most basic function it serves purpose. Anything beyond there is nothing there.

Love the app but is there any way you guys could make it so that when I’m looking through my watchlist I can organize it based on price (i.e. Highest to lowest price or lowest to highest price)?

This app and service was sorely needed in the stock market space. It has given me the ability to dive into this space and learn by doing without spending money I didn’t have on trade commissions.

Free trades, GENUINELY free, are awesome. Can even trade options. Unfortunately, advanced “one-triggers-another” orders aren’t yet available. Also unavailable are trailing stop orders-so if you like to “set it and forget it” like I do, you’re still better off with a traditional brokerage’s app. The $6.95 I pay with thinkorswim for a trade is a good bargain when a stock suddenly takes a dive and my losses get limited by a trailing stop getting triggered and executed. Keep up the good work, Robinhood-I’ll be back when you’re fully functional!

Free trading is really nice. However, I owned a couple shares of a stock that was bought out at $35/ share and the stock was delisted. I should have received the funds in to my account but it’s been over 6 months now and still haven’t received it. It’s my understanding that this should have only taken a week or two. But now my funds are locked up in some limbo state.. I wonder if I’ll ever get it ?.
