Always a go to for traveling! Love to look at reviews for restaurants and hotels! Who wants to go to a bad place if there are amazing places to eat and stay!!!

My go-to travel app

squirrel4hire

The app lets me plan a route and find the best places within five miles of it. I also love that you can choose from multiple places to book a hotel from! I'll never leave home without it!

Can’t say enough....

Fufund

Can’t say enough for how wonderful this app and their corresponding website is. A fantastic concept that makes it easy to plan the”bones” of your trip and then find some of the offbeat and wonderful places you never knew existed... give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. FWIW... we use this primarily for RV Trip planning

Portrait mode only

Terry Newcomb

I HATE apps that force me to use my ipad in portrait mode. Fix it, losers!

The best app for trips 100%, easy to use but lots to do

Awesome Road Trip App

simmser11

I've been using this app for the past couple months planning out a Chicago to Yellowstone road trip. It is very easy to use and very functional. I've found campsites all along the route to stay at and also have marked all of the stops we're going to make at national landmarks and interesting spots, from the biggest buffalo statue to the largest prairie dog colony in the US. I really like the Note feature, it allows me to make detailed entries for each stop along the way. A great app and it's free!! I wrote the above review last year but never submitted it. Since then I've used Roadtrippers to plan trips to Rocky Mountain NP, Pictured Rocks NL, and Banff NP just to name a few. I won't be taking any future road trips without this app.

Good potential

Daltrum

Will not search for attractions in a city of your choosing, just whatever city it currently detects your in. You have to be in navigation mode to look

Good Idea, but no help

babbott40

This app looked promising. I put my current location and final destination along with the type of attractions I would like to see along the way. I did not put hotels or restaurants, which were options. When it routed me, it showed everything on my route including restaurants and hotels. There were too many markers to explore each one. It also only showed attractions directly on our route. Here is what I was hoping for: Top attractions on our route ranked. Alternate routes that offer additional attractions, and the additional time it would add to the trip. If that isn’t possible, just other top attraction within 50 miles of our route as a filter. Only the types of attractions I filtered, so I can minimize the clutter.
