Wonderful free filters!

TheComplementer

This app really transforms a photo completely, there are so many great filters that make your photos look like they were taken from a disposable camera or a Polaroid, exactly the aesthetic I love!!

so much better than vsco

been doover

the presets are so freakin good!

Loving it

This app is a definite must have.

Black Border When Blurring

ElectricMango

Please fix the black border issue which happens after blurring the image. It is painstaking to go in and micro trim the black border off images after applying a blur. This is a fantastic app, but .jpg files loose a lot of detail and 75% of the file size when being exported. So much so, that smooth gradients 9/10 turn into pretty distracting banding. Making matters worse is when you try to export and re edit to stack bits of different emulsion, while the image is slowly being ripped apart with compression. - Some filters you can only apply 6% and up of an effect (about 80% of them) if you try to do 5% of an effect it snaps it to zero, which is not ideal, especially if you want to do a slight slight edit. Besides this it’s a very good app; if these things were improved I, and others could use this app more often for more professional applications, which require high quality, banding free exports

Good n easy

Bettyniggs

Love the filters provided and the general set up of the app. My most used editing app. Only improvements would be letting you store a gallery of finished/drafted edits, letting you copy edits from previous pictures and giving you more dust options that you can pick. Over pleased ?

Sharing on Facebook

Whatmeworry69

I am an amateur photographer. I love the RNI app on my iPhone but on my iPad, I went to view some images on slide film. It said that in order to unlock more slide films, I had to share some images on Facebook. Believe it or not but some people don’t have Facebook. Your app functionality should not depend upon forcing someone to use Facebook or any other social media platform.

Great presets and control

Ryanrgtgtttt

I love the film presets. I do wish there was a way to favorite some of your favorite presets vs keep scrolling. I know why you can’t zoom in on your photos.

It’s cute

Makes my boring life look chique. I f with it

Great film emulations, fast and easy!

Senor Simpo

If you’re one of many who are tired of the “VSCO look” that dominates social media feeds, this is a great alternative. I do wish I could choose different export settings (size, resolution, etc). Overall, extremely happy!

Filters are great, but lacking functionality

louiesolomon

The filters provided by RNI Films are excellent, and I’ve yet to find an iOS app that recreates films as well as RNI. My issues with the app are all due to the lack of some basic photo editing functionality. There is now way to save a preset, or “favorite” a filter. I’ve purchased a few of the film packs and have a lot of filters, but generally only use a handful, so being able to get back to the ones I use often would be extremely useful. My other big issue is that there is no way to zoom into a photo. This makes it difficult to see certain adjustments (sharpening, noise) easily. Hopefully the devs will add in some of these small improvements and it will really make for an excellent photo film app.
