Still great fun after a year and a half

Pros: - game requires real strategy. It is challenging. - beautiful graphics. - wide variety of "ancients" each with 3 different battle spells to choose from as you progress - also, as you progress, your troops never become outdated as long as you keep upgrading them. They never become obsolete. - works on an individual and a team level. - always adding interesting new content. - the fast-forward button for easy battles. - enjoyable for free... or pay to achieve your goals faster. Almost everything available in time to everyone. - teams (kingdoms) and families of teams make play more fun and helps everyone in a good family learn strategies and not be left behind thanks to all the help. Cons: - events are now EVERY weekend, and sometimes missing just one event can cost you big time for a long time. - the "Relic Wars", are a great concept (you must use a different Ancient for each battle), but they are not implemented well. Even if you do well in them you win back a lot less than you put in. - rather than try to find a balance between offense and defense, hey tend to make one much stronger, and leave it that way for a while, then swing the pendulum just as far the other way. When leaning too far to offense, it gets a little boring. At the other end, when you suddenly start losing all your attacks, it becomes really frustrating.

It's a pretty decent game. It's only got one resource which is gold so it makes it easy to build your bank. It takes a little bit of work and time to reach arena levels. Once you do gold is easy to build
