I loved this game. All the recent updates have made it pay to “win” and by “win” I mean keep the stuff you’ve built and bought that can be decimated by someone who spends more than you do. All the new events are ridiculous in their cost and as a disabled person on a fixed income, this game has become too frustrating to continue. I am L2 and spent WAY beyond what I should have to get to where I am, and I’m tired of having it all destroyed by someone because they spent more money than I did. I refuse to spend another penny on this game and I advise others to avoid downloading it in the first place. It’s not worth the stress and financial burden it will cost you once you get invested in the castle you build. It breaks my heart to walk away, but it’s the way it has to be.

New players beware. This game used to be amazing. Until greed took over. Nice job RoK. It’s a pandemic. People are losing their jobs and struggling with lockdowns. So let’s release everything back to back so now you can’t play this game and forget about real life for a bit. Unless of course you want pay a ridiculous amount of money to play. L5 farms everywhere. Soon to be L6 farms. Game went from work hard and grow to have fun living under a bubble unless you are prepared to spend the big bucks. Glitches that the developers turn a blind eye on. Customer service is terrible. It’s a shame. This game was once great. Thanks for nothing RoK.

The last few updates have been geared for big spenders to be even more powerful. I have a strong castle and spent quite a bit to get where I am, but now I can’t keep up. What’s worse is the players are leaving the game because they can’t compete. I mean, who can spend $20k on a game? A select few that’s who. I really love playing the game but if ROK can’t get their greed in check, many people will leave and they’ll only have a hand full of People in each kingdom. I have played this game everyday for almost 4 years. 1,413 days consecutive to be exact and for the first 3 years I was able to be competitive without spending money but the greed has set in. At this point and I’m not joking you need around 50k that is $50,000 to play and to be competitive and again that’s not a joke. Our kingdom alone has someone that has spent over 100k on this game and the fact is if you don’t have money don’t play this game bc no Matter how much time and hard work you put in you will never get any of the good hero’s and you will never unlock the new ice dragon the game just put out along with the and to upgrade your castle or buildings it takes months to collect the medals you need I am slowly losing interest in this game with them constantly rolling out new hero’s that you cannot get without spending money and they roll out new hero’s every few weeks. Also side note there is another castle in our kingdom that has spent over 20k on there hero’s and castle and once they brought the dragon into the game I watched that same person bc a no body in the game so spending 20k is not enough money apparently so I would recommend finding another game to spend uour time on don’t be like me they only signs on to talk to friends I have made and for me to fill other peoples rallies bc I don’t spend so I never get to attack people I just wait for other people so I can join rallies and I’m not a small castle I have a l5 castle with over 260 mill power and that is nothing anymore I highly recommend not to play this game without money

This game has moved to very frequent and expensive updates. Unless you want to spend $100k USD do not download this game. I have played 18 months and in that time they have released an insane number of updates. I hope no one ever downloads rok again and onemt goes out of business. Game gms do not listen to players at all. Again, do not download this game.

Don’t play if you can’t spend thousands.

Game used to be the best. Now it’s all about the money. If you can’t spend thousands you just can’t keep up. New updates coming out way to fast with heroes that cost thousands to get. It’s impossible to have a chance if you don’t have several huge spenders in each kingdom. I’ve personally spent tens of thousands of dollars. It just does not end. When you do send complaint or suggestions game ignores you. So disappointed cause it really used to be a fun game.

If you want to spend a lot of money download. Since the beginning the game has changed a lot and not for the better. I have been here 4 years and it has gotten worse and worse. In order to really play the game you have to spend between 2k and 3k for each hero. The time and money you spend to play is just not worth it. I would like to say kvk is worth it but it’s not either because people don’t want to waste all their tears. They really need to go back to basics. Make it able for non spenders and spenders to be able to play together. Miss the days of l1 being so strong. Now in new kingdoms you have no chance. They started out great and then became greedy. We have tried to speak to the owners of the game and they laugh in our face. They need to fix this game before you download it. It cost about 800 a week to do everything they want you to do. It will take all your time as well.

Been playing this game for 3-4 years now was very happy with it after leaving another app game called ( game of war)because it became a money pit but now (rise of kings) has also become the same if your not spending big money ? every week you won’t compete and if you have a castle that you build with your hard earned money unfortunately it will become a farm because there’s no way of keeping up when they’re coming out each week with new heroes - dragons - new castle levels - new research - new hero levels the game is getting out of hand and if the developers don’t do nothing as soon as possible about this they will lose lots of players to other new games very disappointment with (RISE OF KINGS) it’s become a pay to win game now The fun of the game is no longer there if your down loading this game to have fun trust me it’s not fun and definitely not free don’t waste your time.??

This is a pay to win game unless you plan on spending money and a lot of it don’t even start it. I have spent over $750 and I am nowhere near being a top tier player just to give you a example.
