A Civil War Mystery

I like this up to a certain point. I got part of it solved but when I went back the next time I couldn't get to where I could solve the mystery. There needs to be either better or more instructions. Disappointing.

Potential good, but no directions

Good4n

looks like an interesting site but the directions are none existent.

The worst

So difficult to use, no directions and no "hints". Without a deep understanding of the civil war, no way of understanding this. A complete time waster...and not in a good way

Enjoyed a lot

I enjoy this app once I figured it out. Then I was able to solve all the boxes. I am not a big history buff but I love to read. Hope you add more cases.

STARTS OFF OK...

. Period. But then it just gets complicated and doesn't seem to work. Frustrating. Erasing up my iPad.

Lots of fun

I had a good time playing on this app. It's a unique way to look at history. It kind of reminded me of the game clue but updated and with an educational element.

What What What do I do?

I am a true history buff. I know all these people and all these documents yet I don't know what the hell to do after looking at all of them. A little help could speed this up. What a waste of my time. This game has promise but is overall......PATHETIC!!!

I like this app because it is very entertaining. I love mysteries and I especially love educational mysteries. I'm not a big history buff at all and this app is perfect for people like me. I think children would love this app because they might not even realize they are learning stuff. This app is perfect for people that want to learn about the civil war and what happened during this time, while enjoying a fun mystery. If you are looking for a fun way to teach about the civil war, this app is a great way to do it!??

This is a terrific app and my students love it. It offers immediate feedback and primary sources as they use their problem solving and critical thinking skills to solve four mysteries.

Pretty Good

Not bad. I like puzzles. This had a bit of a learning curve but I just kept poking around until I figured out the components. I even had to get up and walk away for awhile, because if you keep doing the same thing repeatedly without results it leads to a kind of self-inflicted madness. Once I got it though, it was fun and even (oh my!) educational. I hope there are more puzzles coming.
