Downloaded twice--still crashing

I downloaded this app and upon selecting a song, it kept crashing. I couldn't get past it no matter which song I chose (and yes the songs were downloaded onto my phone from the cloud) Deleted the app and downloaded again. Same problem. Moving onto something else..

This app is official. I love that I can turn any song from my own extensive musical library into a ring tone. Easy to use and 30 seconds is a more than enough adequate time to create a ring tone to my liking.

I haven’t used the app yet but I’m looking at the reviews and the last review was from 5 years ago. I’m a bit worried. What happened or drove people to stop using or writing reviewers about the app?

I like the way the app works but there are four things that would make it WAY better. First, being able to zoom in tighter to set start and end points between transients. Second, a way to lock a start or end point while scrolling away to set the other. Third, for the loop length to be shorter than 8.8 seconds. Fourth, for the selection to loop while playing back so finer adjustments can be made.
