Super useful and user friendly

This app gives the same info that the MTA site yields, but much faster and easier to navigate. I usually get errors and can't read some of the info from the site on my iPhone, and this app solves that problem.

Clean and simple to use - with fast results! PLEASE add the PATH Train status and alerts too for my Jersey friends! If this also had rail/bus schedules by destination that you could bookmark, it would be the commuter's 'all-in-one'
Quick & easy way to navigate NYC

Great app! It doesn't get any easier than this. Great to know ahead of time what subway lines to avoid, alternatives rides to take, saving time and money in the process. Few things to add to make it a complete app would be:•adding New Jersey Transit rail lines, perhaps bus lines too•Lincoln Tunnel, Holland Tunnel, and George Washington Bridge info• Ferry info might help some people as well.
Great App, but need schedules too

This is a very useful app, especially the B&T section but it would be even better if the base schedules for all the MTA buses and trains were included as well. Whether the transport is late or on time, it's always good to know when to expect the next service. I don't imagine it would be too difficult to find the information and pull a database together as this stuff is printed and disbursed by the MTA. I'm giving this 4 stars because it does exactly what it promises. I'll review again if this changes. I'd even pay more for this feature.
Not what I expected

From the way this was advertised on buses and the subway, I thought it was going to tell you things like when you could expect the next M4 where you are. Hardly! All this does is tell you that a line is or isn't running normally. Thanks a lot! It does have the official NYC subway map, so if you think that's worth a buck, get it. Otherwise forgetaboutit!

After downloading this app on my htc mytouch I decided why not also on my iPod. Its a awesome app that will keep you from getting lost . I remember seeing it priced at $1 but it's free now so get it now.
