Riddle Stones is a game of logic that will train your brain: like crosswords but with squares and numbers. The game is based on the asian riddles known as picross, griddler and nonogram. It’s a real mind challenge wrapped in a fun experience where you need to think and use your brains to succeed.
To decipher our puzzle grids, you will use numbers indicating which squares to activate in each grid based on simple rules. Each number tells you where to add squares in a row or a column. You can compare it to sudoku or crosswords with more fun brain training. You will learn easily, progress rapidly and quickly get addicted! It will blow you mind!
Riddle Stones offers a fascinating cross-over between crosswords, sudoku, minesweeper and other puzzles based on numbers where you cross the hints to find which squares to activate. But be careful and think right, if you tap the wrong square, you will trigger a trap!

Help stuck
Once you get to the second round it is same puzzles over and over. It’s not challenging anymore. Either make new puzzles or end the game.
Concept is awesome, but...

Love the concept of the game, but once you get past a certain point, it’s almost all guessing and one mistake can end the entire turn. They give you food to help boost life back up, but they take 65 from health, and food will only restore like 5-10. They have hint systems you can use, but you’ll need gems to buy them, and there’s no option to earn free ones, nor do you get any for passing a level. Think of it like playing sudoku with no numbers sometimes. So I think this is where I’ll stop. I don’t want to be forced to buy just to move on, funny, because I probably would’ve spent a buck or two if they also gave chances to get free gems.

It’s a good game and a good time passer. I really enjoy it! The downside to this game is there are way too many ads. I have played many free games and they have much less ads. This game, the ads are plentiful and they are LONG.

I’ve been playing this game on and off for sometime now. This isn’t a logic game that in the end you deduct an answer. The clues given don’t provide enough information, so you end up guessing and it becomes difficult to pass a level without having to purchase additional clues with real money. There is no way to earn credits in game, so you get stuck at levels. The game is so choppy now where it will freeze for one second, then skip two seconds that it makes timed gameplay impossible. This happens on both my and my husband’s devices. While the controls are great, it’s just unplayable and and repeated grids are dull. I’ve since installed 3 other griddler puzzle games that are more enjoyable because they aren’t glitching out. Please fix your app, the unresponsiveness to screen tap makes it unbearable to play. Let me know when it’s fixed and I’ll come back if I’m not already hooked on another picross style game.
I just paid $25 for something I didn’t want

I was trying to press cancel when an ad popped up for a deal on the app. But instead of cancel I accidentally hit accept and it didn’t say give me an option to opt out of the payment so I’ve just spent $25 on a game I almost never play and there’s no option to get a refund I have $25 to my name I feel conned.

I adore this game. I even understand that not being able to use logic all the time makes for a bit more exciting game play. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't synchronize with Facebook correctly so, while I can send boosters to my game playing friends, I can't receive any from them. I keep hoping an update will come out and fix this. If it does, I'd boost my rating up to 5 stars because it's a really compelling game.
Laggy but otherwise a favorite

I really like this game, but there is a pervasive lag issue that seems to be getting worse. Sometimes the game is so slow that it’s not fun anymore. It gets better temporarily when I restart or reinstall, but then I lose my place, my lives, and sometimes my coins. I have plenty of space on my iPad and a solid internet connection, so this is not an issue on my end. Please fix and I’ll change my rating. Thanks.
