This game is trying very hard to be Rhythm Heaven, which is a fantastic series of rhythm games by Nintendo. I love those titles, so that alone made me excited to try this... but a lack of polish and bland music make this game fall short of the glory it wanted to reach. The tutorial songs don’t loop well, some of the sounds are very unsatisfying, and the text just plain looks bad. The timing feels kinda funny, too; I’m a veteran at rhythm games and I’m not doing so hot at it. It’s a shame, because the scenarios are cute and the art is adorable. It’s far more charming than 95% of the other rhythm games on iOS. But it could’ve used some more time in development to make it really shine.
