I was up 3-0 against Columbia when I missed a goal and the game froze on a goal kick. I refreshed the app but lost my progress. I’m out!

Fun start, but eventually becomes tedious

The game at first is interesting due to its somewhat different controls from other games, and it’s fun to try and learn and master. However, once it’s mastered after a couple hours of play, every match can easily be won by 5-0 margins. What’s more, the “Victory Road” game mode, the most challenging of the three modes, doesn’t let you progress when your team doesn’t meet a certain rating, even when you could easily destroy any AI team in the game with that underrated team. Good physics and gameplay, but poor long term design to keep the user hooked.

Love the game but 4 stars because lack of stuff to do

I like it. Mechanics are somewhat smooth. However, it needs to be a bit harder. You can score so easily in this game, I got 10 goals in one match against the best team. Also if they could implement a new game mode like multiplayer, that would make it more fun.

This last update killed it. The changes made to the tackling is terrible, and the incessant reminder that you can buy a VIP status to avoid ads is irritating. Remove these recently added features and it's still one of the best apps in the store

Truly horrible update

I've given it a fair shot and will continue to, but my God was this gameplay update horrible. Aside from some buggy crashes if I ever chose not to spend 100 coins to skip ads, he new gameplay "features" are atrocious. This game's strength is its realism, compared to other soccer games. These charging pause-tackles are confusing, and my shooters seem to need to be practically in the goal when they shoot to have a chance of scoring. Booo! *Update: it doesn't get better with time. It's virtually impossible to score unless you walk the ball into the goal. The "barge" feature makes it very confusing to tell who has the ball, and these guys running super fast to catch you is just bizarre and unrealistic. Thanks for destroying what was a cool game!
