Fantastic version of a classic

KEVINU

So excited to see this release as I was a huge fan of the original classic TI-99 game upon which this is based. The level designs and speech are faithfully and accurately done. If you played the original or just like retro style arcade side shooters you'll find this worth the 99 cents.

We need more like this!

Very faithful to the classic original! Great fun on top of inspiring enormous nostalgia. This is the app that may finally make me buy a Bluetooth controller.

Whaaaaat!

OMG I am 5 again.

Faithful Recreation of a Classic Game

plagasse

The TI 99/4A was my first computer, and Parsec was my favorite game on it (though I didn't have the speech synthesizer). This game is a spot-on recreation -- right down to the littlest details in the scrolling terrain and the way that only one sound effect can be heard at a time. It would be nice if the game would keep and display high scores. Also, the "joystick" can be twitchy (often when I slide it to go up, it starts off by moving the plane down before correcting), particularly on the smaller phone screen as opposed to on a big iPad screen. But these are mere quibbles. Five stars for the sheer joy of being able to relive happy childhood moments!

OMG wow! Love it, but....

This was my fovorite game for the TI99/4A home computer back in the early 80's. This game is the best port of the game I have found.

Almost perfect recreation!

As close as iOS can get to the TI-99!

Now I'll never get any work done.

Happy Traveling Monkey

Great work on this. I'll never get any work done and my phone battery will be completely drained.

Childhood fav!

What a great reproduction! Thank you for making this. I hope you'll consider recreating Munchman and Hunt the Wumpus!

Waste of money, I was thinking Defender... not even close. Very little effort went in to this.
