As an elite pilot of the United Earth Force, you control an advanced fighter craft with interchangeable weapons, fighting your way through alien fighters, fuel ships, transports and huge capital sized war ships armed to the teeth with an assortment of brutally powerful weaponry commanded by the ruthless Galactic Emperor, Phar'z Krogan.
The goal of the Challenge Level is to see how far you can get through this awesomely space themed gauntlet of doom, which takes place on the back side of V'Lorn Moon, and to prepare you for the full-sized game Retro Assault that will be released in the early second quarter of 2017.

Faced-paced and fun dual-joystick shooter!

I really enjoyed playing this game! It brings me back to playing dual-joystick arcade games with great graphics and tight controls. It starts fairly easy but gets really frenetic in the higher waves. I wish there were more games like this on the AppStore. Recommended!!!
Finally, a retro style shooter worthy of my childhood!

I grew up on old classic arcade games, and this one just pulls at my heart strings. It has all the elements of an old school classic from the arcade infused with a modern nu-skool sheen. Sharp and kenetic, the controls are really tight for this kind of game on a touch device, I was really impressed with how solid the response was, very geometry wars-ish. Graphics are really well rendered, and the ship designs were very cool and inspired. The mission is very accessible in the opening waves, letting you get a grasp of the controls, but it ramps up quickly into intense firefights with swarms of fighters, support ships and giant battle cruisers hurling an insane amount of firepower. A lot of nods to games I love in here. Though this is a challenge mission, or demonstration, if this is a taste of what's to come, I think this game is a good one to watch for. Looking forward to full game!
