Excellent tool for video review by sports officials or coaches

Born too soon

Kudos to the developer of this excellent program for the detailed review of video by sports officials or coaches. As a football official, I review many hours of game video a week, and with this program, I'm able to load the video on my iPad and watch when I'm in the gym or traveling, etc. With a little practice, the finger swipes become second nature and work quite well. Thank you for this outstanding program. Ed Hochuli

Better than Telstrator for Ipad

I like all the video controls-better than Telstrator for ipad. Love the bookmarking. Would be even better if it had a zoom and print feature.

Need my $5 back. iOS 5.0.1. Does not work at all. Complete waste of money and I will be contacting Apple and the developer.

I was really hoping that someone had a good telestrator app for the iPad… but I can't find one and this isn't it. First, if you every want to hook it up to an external display, this one mangles the output and flips the display on the iPad itself… no options for the iPad orientation once you plug in an external display. The app itself plays video okay. Many of the controls are generally unresponsive, and rewinding is an ugly process… very disjointed and hard to see where you are as you go back in the video. Turning on the slider control made several other controls either stop working entirely, or very unresponsive. And the pens to actually draw on the screen were also generally fairly unresponsive… meaning you needed to go very slow to get it to draw a line where you wanted it to go. The bookmarking was terrible, but it's not good either. No niceties of text entry… no automatic capitalization, the next time you try to bookmark something, it still has the text from the last bookmark there and no "delete entry" icon like you see in most iDevice apps to kill that text and start over. You need to hold down the delete key to do it. Also, now that bookmarks have a length… it would be really nice if when you play a bookmark it automatically (or at least gave you an option to) put back the in/out points that you recorded the bookmark with in the first place. I was able to work with all of these shortcomings… up until the video output didn't work in any usable fashion. I'm glad I checked before needing to use with my team. Now I'll just go back to using my laptop… seeing the video (along with having responsive control over the video) is more important than needing to draw on the screen.

On my iPad 2 running 5.1.1 the app opens and immediately crashes. Do not buy!

3.1 fixes the issues with iOS6, but the video still starts upside down, I have to flip the iPad upside down and back upright for the video to be correct.

Great App

I have loved replay booth since it first came out in its first version. This new update has fixed all issues that were occurring. With the addition of the ability to use Dropbox directly, this has definitely become my most used app. I would recommend this to any football official, or coach, to view their film. Great app!!
