Was really hopeful that this would help me get rid of duplicates but instead it locks up on every option even the help & faq secton

Duplicate detection is not so great

It doesn't detect duplicates that well. At the end you'll just have to delete the contacts with just the same name. It has no option to merge contacts. And it will spam you with lots of pop-ups telling you how much time it's saved you etc. etc.

Was nervous about getting the app but after downloading and deleting over 18,000 duplicates in a matter of minutes, my nervousness vanished. I spent the last 4 evenings wasting time as I manually deleted them one by one while watching TV or chatting on the phone. After I deleted the duplicate contacts a bubble pops up saying that I saved over 30 hours of manually deleting them. I have to disagree, I think it's way more than 30 hours. I have an iPhone 5 and it worked great! Very simple and not hard to figure out at all.
