Kinda Buggy Display

Wm.

Has this strange TV thing it does only after a few seconds of use. It seems to be the way to extract payment but it kicked in way before I fell in love with the product enough to pay a whopping $19. Was impressed by how fast it is, wow. Was also impressed (negatively) by having to buy two copies to get on my iPad and my iPhone. $19 + $19 Based upon the high unit cost cost and the dual purchase, I decided to keep looking at other products. Considering fantastic products like Pages, Numbers and Keynote are only $9 (and for that, a no brainer purchase) I would suggest that this product would be pricy at $5. Meanwhile I ended up getting "Remoter" for much less and it works on both my iPhone and iPad with one purchase. Remoter is more PC oriented unfortunately but does not price gouge so...

No good

I agree with the prior complaint about the distortion effect followed by the "by the full version" push. Save your time, look elsewhere. nozero

No longer awesome.

I used to love this app, but made the mistake of upgrading without reading the reviews. The interference that is introduced makes this app useless now. And $20 is way too much. Oh well.. nice job on killing a successful app.

Was a great app!!

Why screw up something because of GREED!! Only works for a few minutes before you have to X out of the "Upgrade Notification" and then disconnect/reconnect for a few more minutes of use. There's other ways to limit the free version of apps instead of making them useless. I'll just find and pay for another product.

Works really well.

The app instantly recognized my iMac on the network. I authenticated and that was it. I especially like the touchpad feature.

Use to be a great app

Should have suggest I commented. I liked the app when it first came out but now the app is completely pointless. After you use it for an minute the screen distorts itself and an upgrade screen pops up. To be frank, I haven't seen anything from the demo that would make me feel comfortable with spending so much money on a upgrade. I feel as though its glutton for a refund.

wasn't able to SSH

eiriano

I briefly tried to use this app to SSH to a machine running Fedora. I tried to SSH. I used a symbolic address instead of a numeric IP address. Maybe that was the problem, but the app notified me it couldn't connect before crashing.

Awesome

If you can get by the 1 minute or so window you have to work, it works like a charm. I'm definitely going to buy the full version!

Used to be useful

But not anymore. For those of us who very occasionally needed remote access to a machine, this was useful. The grayscale display worked fine for short occasional use. The distortion effect renders it useless. Too bad they screwed it up so badly. And the most recent version is still messed up.

Almost perfect

Just add a pin to protect the app from starting. Then it would be perfect!
