FlightReady helps you prepare for the FAA remote pilot exam by testing your knowledge against a question bank of over 420 questions, including questions from the official FAA question bank, and over 175 flashcards to help memorize regulations and chart symbols.

Note that we offer two separate apps to prepare for the Remote Pilot exam:

◗ Remote Pilot Test Prep (this app) - Test preparation questions only
◗ Remote Pilot Ground School - Complete training course plus test prep questions

This app (Test Prep) requires knowledge of drone operations and the relevant FAA regulations (or self study using publicly available resources). This app does not include any training content other than explanations for each answer.

While it is possible to learn by answering questions, if you are new to drone flying, we suggest our Remote Pilot Ground School app, which includes 10 hours of lesson content covering every area tested on the exam.

You can purchase this app and later upgrade to the complete Ground School via in-app purchase by tapping the Store menu option.

Spend $30 to save $150
MusicalFreedom

I took the UA test because I want to take photos for real estate. I signed up for the test for $150 and printed out all the FAA supplied study materials. The FAA books are pretty dry and they only prove 1 practice test. I also went online and downloaded more practice tests but those weren't that great either because they didn't explain the correct answer if you got it wrong. I found this app mentioned on a message board and decided that I'd rather spend an extra $30 on this app then fail the test and lose $150. And i also didn't want to spend the $200-300 for the online courses that some websites offer for the drone test. That seems like too much. So I read the study guide and took as many practice tests in this app as possible before my test day. I ended up passing with 90% and it's definitely because of the practice tests and explanations in this app. As some others have said, this app contains information that doesn't seem relevant to UA flight but I can tell you for sure that topics like that do show up on the test. My test had around 5-6 questions I had never seen that had to do with load factor at certain turn degrees and runway traffic patterns. Great app. Well worth the $30.

I study all the prep and took the exam six time got 95% average . So I went to took a real test, what a surprise a lot of questions didn't cover from this app. I fail the test only got 64% right.

Great app!

I just took the exam and passed with a 93. I had no prior experience with anything regarding this material and only used this app to study with some additional research online based the practice test feedback. I went through all of the study questions and took the test 6 times with scores between 83 and 90. I then went back and brushed up on the areas where I had missed questions. In all, I probably had 12 hours of preparation time. Make sure you understand the logic behind the questions and you should do well!

Just passed

Just passed the part 107 exam. This app was by far the only reason I passed. Worth every penny!

Best prep

I took an online course but still feeling inadequate I bought FlightReady. I took simulated FAA test and got 69%. So for 2 weeks I studied and tested in the app. When my average score was 90%, I took the FAA exam. I received an 87%, pretty darn close. When I missed the same question twice, I googled it. Great APP!!

Outdated Questions
Callmewes

Great little helper for the exam. If I wasn’t already a pilot this would have been extremely difficult to pass using this app alone to study. Lots of spelling errors and far outdated questions. I see it’s last update was 1 year ago and all reviews are from around the same time period. For the price I was disappointed. I did pass but with little help from this app. I recognized 2 questions out of the 398 this app has available to study when taking the real exam. It’s cheaper and more effective to study on the (free) FAA website.

Passed with 97% score
Teknotoyz

Worth every penny!! Passed on first try. I started with this app and was answering about a 50% level score. Just keep going over the questions and review the explanations when you get wrong answers. I did this until I was consistently scoring in the 90% range. I did have a pilot friend explain sectional charts to me which helped me in addition to this app.

Essential to prepare for Remote Pilot Test
jsnowder

I used the Test Prep extensively in preparing for the FAA Remote Pilot Exam and passed with flying colors. The Test Prep app is 5-star as it gives detailed explanations on questions missed. The app support is also 5-star service. Ed was quick to respond to my questions on the new update. If you have any worry about not passing the remote pilot test and having to pay $150 to retake, I strongly recommend you purchase this app to prepare.

$30 doesn’t give you access to the full app.

I assumed paying for the app would give you access to all the material, but they require you to pay $20 on top of that to access the most important parts. The app was glitchy as well, and I regularly had problems viewing the test questions.
