You are a god amongst mere mortals. My 2 year old took the remote and I haven’t been able to find it for 3 hours. Thank you for this.

After trying a lot of different smart remote apps, I have always come back to this one. This is the only one I’ve found that isn’t ridiculous. I tried several different remotes, and they locked the remote past a certain point of usage. One app I tried let me press the buttons for a total of 3 times before it refused to let me use it anymore without buying a subscription or paying $30 for full access to a remote.(Seriously) This other app would let you use only, and I kid you not, half of the remote. If you tried to adjust the volume, you’d get a popup to subscribe or pay a ridiculous(-/+ 30$) amount to unlock the full remote. This app isn’t like those horrible ones. This one gives you full remote functionality and it’s only thing, like most apps now-a-days, is ads that come on from pressing buttons. But they have NEVER restricted full use of the remote in exchange for hefty fees and subscriptions. Literally, those other apps feel like extortion for the “service” they’re providing. So. After I tried so many apps, I came back to this one, and paid the $3.99 to this company. Because they deserve it more than those other garbage apps that try to force you to pay ludicrous subs and fees for an app. They never tried to force me to buy full access to the remote. I just had to deal with ads every now and then with button presses. The different kinds of remote controls are cool too. Thank you for being the only honest smart remote app on the entire Apple store. You don’t try to trick and force people into buying your app just to use it. You get an A+ in my book.

I lost my remote and tried to download this app to use with my TV. I could not connect without the remote. I eventually found my remote and tried to set up to have the next time. It continued to tell me to press okay on the tv which wasn’t an option anywhere. I tried manually adding and everything. We got no where.
We won’t charge your credit card then “DING” a $1 charge notification from the bank.

I unchecked the box allowing access to the extra stuff I don’t want or need. All I needed was a working remote. It doesn’t work and I’m not going to pay or waste time to figure it out. Annoying ads hinder functionality and I assume they would ask me to pay to delete them. I’ll never know because I deleted the app.

I get enough commercials on the TV I DON’t need them on my remote control as well. Deleted!
