I use it with great success at the university level. As a former public school administrator, I had instant communication for emergencies and any change of plans. I highly recommend remind.com.

Remind!! Yes it is a great way to keep up with school activities and other programs my children are in. I can send my children's teachers messages, view when if seen or not. I just absolutely love this app!!

As a teacher I would like for parents to have to input their kids name somewhere. With so many students it’s hard to keep track of who the parent is. This should be a MUST feature. Also, it would be nice to be able to make an announcement to just some parents. I would like to have the opción to have a survey. To keep track of people who have answered and who wants to participate. Thank you,
Awesome communication tool...not just for educators

I use this app for my classroom to communicate with students and parents, but I also use this as a communication tool for the choir at my church...totally awesome!!!
Still crap after update
TACTICAL NUKE INCOMING
Used to work fine. Then it signed me out and I can’t log back in. I used all the right info I wrote down when I first signed up. It made me a new profile thing and none of my classes are there. Why the heck would this stupid app sign me out? EDIT: Update changed nothing, it still signs me into the second account it made even though I put in all the right info. Very difficult to use.
Convenient for the most part

Searching for schools/groups can sometimes be difficult if you don't have their code. For some reason I get texts and remind notifications about same thing. Seems to work well for the school for the most part though.
