Don’t believe the hype...

After reading reviews, I was excited to dl this app and utilize its courses and features. I was so sold on its effectiveness that after discovering that most of its features aren’t available without a subscription, I went right ahead and paid for a full year. It’s all been down hill from there. I was extremely underwhelmed by the courses. Both in the variety, and quality. For example - As a single woman, I don’t need an app to tell me how to create an online dating profile. I mean really, that’s your big insight for single people interested in improving their love life?! Accepting that I wasn’t going to get any big insights from their lame course library, I was sure that the magic would happen in the goal setting section. Again I was disappointed. The functionality of this section offers nothing that I can’t already get by just entering reminders on my iPhone. And in fact, the free Reminders tool has waaaay more customizable features (with actual reminders that will pop up as often as you like). A little prompt pops up when you create a goal with tips on how to set SMART goals. Again, nothing revolutionary here. All info I could have received for free by googling ‘goal setting’. You get two prompts per day from Remente, you can select what time of day you get them and that’s it. How is that going to help keep you motivated?!!! Again, just by creating reminders or calendar invites I can do WAAAY more than sending myself two silly prompts in the morning and at night. They’re not even customizable in terms f messaging. I want something that’s going to give me that extra push at 3p, “You got this!” Or I might have times when I want 18 alerts to come up throughout the day. Offering two generic prompts seems like they’re catering to someone who already has too much noise in their life. So maybe this app just isn’t made for people like me. Idk, but I’m pretty irritated with myself that I forked over $50 for features I already have free and easy access to in other built in apps on my phone. If any of this resonates with you, DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Chances are if you’re serious about achieving your goals, you’ve already got more than enough tools to support you. Don’t be lured in by the resource/course library either. There’s millions of free blogs that cover the same subjects in more depth. Just google whatever topic you want along with the words how to. Meh.

Free version not helpful

abbyp0p

Seems like a good concept, but the free version doesn’t do enough to be worth downloading. You enter info but then can’t see it the next day if you don’t become a premium subscriber. Get a notebook.

Wonderful app!

This is my favorite mindfulness app. It can help keep you organized and mindful of your feelings, and whatnot. Help you set and achieve goals. I haven’t tried premium but the free stuff really is worth it.

A personal assistant in an application and an absolute wonder !

This application is so helpful and easy to use. I don’t feel like I need a real personal assistant because this app does everything for me! It’s absolutely phenomenal!

Spiritual Focus- The Next Step For This App

Weeflen

This app is incredible! There are so many helpful resources within this app as well as different ways to measure how you are feeling and what you are focusing on. I really love how it teaches you how to set proper goals so that you set yourself up for success! I personally think it would be beneficial to add an optional spiritual focus, as well as spiritual resources and goals in the app that users can choose if they so desire. Obviously this is a very general topic so it would be difficult to pinpoint sources users could refer to that they would enjoy. But maybe the sources could be divided up by religion (Christianity, Jewish, Muslim, etc) and by general spirituality. This would require a lot of work, but I really think it would be the next step for this app moving forward. It would be ideal to eventually even divide up into specific religious groups so that those who seek sources for their spirituality can find sources from their faith (that is, if their church releases such articles online). As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I personally feel it would benefit me a ton to include this aspect in the app. I love finding spiritual applications to the things I learn from Remente. I know I’m not the only one that feels this way too! :) Anywho, this app is amazing! I’m thoroughly enjoying it, and I look forward to continued updates in the future!

Self-Improvement

Avanlea

This app has helped me so much already with my self-improvement. I know there are a lot of things I need to change within myself and how I see myself and this app helps you achieve that. I think I might honestly pay for the premium version because this app helps me so much

Best app for motivation

BiancaBorkPosada

I really enjoy this app because of all the goals, and motivation it has given me. It has taught me how to appreciate the world around me and my life. It also helped me improve my habits and I have become a way more happy, positive person because of this app! Highly recommend. It’s also free! I get so much for free! Many other apps only have 1 free course. But this app has many! I truly appreciate this! Please download! You won’t regret it!

Much more productive and happy balanced life

Kaligirl123

I love this app! It helps me take a look at my overall life so I can see where I need work. I love the articles, the task list, the mood check, the goal setting. Ive definitely been more productive and more conscious of my mood and activities that correspond to a good day and not so good day. Highly recommend!

Rip off

Like others have said, everything is behind a pay gate. The app was advertising a 50% off subscription rate which I went ahead and purchased. However, I still can’t access the paid features. Several days later, I still only have the free version and at every turn get prompts to upgrade to premium. I emailed Remente’s support team to resolve it and still no answer. On top of that, Apple won’t refund my purchase. Not worth the hassle.
