Since last update, it always crashes when I try to play a local game. iPad air.

It has been a while since I played the physical version of this game, so I went to check out the rules to refresh myself. Unfortunately I couldn't read all of the rules because they were partially covered with game pieces. Sadly that's not the only problem with the UI. Codito Development seems to have big problems with getting their UI done well and this game is no exception to that. Only get this game if you already know how to play it and love it so much that you can put up with a terrible implementation of the game.

This is a very nice implementation of a great board game. Occasionally, when playing solo against AI opponents, one of the AIs will pause for a while while considering its move. And sometimes, it will just pause forever, and that particular game is just lost, there's no way to jump start it. Thankfully, games of Ra are so fast that it's not really the biggest deal, you just start over.
Broken, don't buy

I play tons of board game apps, this one is buggy and broken. Online play does not work, leaving the app and going back to it breaks the current game. Should be taken off the App Store, this is not a functioning app.

Good game overall, VERY buggy, even in current version. App won't even start up and play in local mode anymore after 6 hours of play :(
Cool game, bad implenentation

Just played my first game. I think the end is supposed to TOTAL your scores for the whole game, including epoch 1 and 2 right??? It didn't for me. Worth buying just to get a taste, but not the whole board game you would expect.

I have all of knizias games for mobile devices and this is probably the 2nd best one(Tigris and Euphrates being #1). Many board games will lose there appeal fairly quickly, but this game has a lot of replay value. It helps that it's in gamecenter, other knizia games like Money, High Society, Masters Gallery and Kingdoms would be much better served if they were in it as well.
Ok game with bugs

I played the board version and fell in love with RA. This app is ok, but with the following bugs. Developer, please fix them. - game crashes when playing from a saved game. - online play mode is just saying "loading" and nothing happens.
