I was so excited when I saw this game thinking it would be like the game cradle of Rome, which it is, BUT it is horribly slow moving.

Sigh, well I took one for the team. This Match-3 variant is sluggish and not a bit fun. You can only make one match at a time, and there is definitely a delay before you can make the next one. I though the resource-gathering aspect might add some spice to the game, but nothing can save this lemon. I know it's only $0.99, but save that for a sale on Call of Atlantis, Montezuma, or any of a number of superior Match-3 games.

I like the slower pace I'm addicted to trying to avoid the blue blocks to gain as many resources as possible and I'm having a fun time 

It's just like DS Cradle of Rome but way slower. And way cheaper so nobody should really complain.

Glad I bought it, but it would help to know what to expect. The graphics are well done, the background music & sounds pleasant, passes time when you want a simple match game without too much thought. It is slow and does freeze up occasionally (just wait it out and it will continue or restart). Does not require much thought, but I find myself playing it at least once a day since it came out. Not in a league with Montezuma, but for 99 cents a pleasant time passer.

I'm lowering my review after the recent upgrade. The game freezes frequently and all you can do is abandon your game and shut it down. Also, there are multiple symbols to match for the money and food one needs to move between levels but only one symbol for building material and those symbols occur infrequently. At this point, I have enough wealth and food stored up to jump ahead 4 levels but I am trudging through games to gather wood at10 to 50 points at a time. I definitely won't play this again until there is a second upgrade.

Please fix the game!

Like the game but getting tired of it freezing up!!!! I agree with the last post 100%! Could've leveled up many times but takes to long to gather building materials. Over all seems like a waste of time and money:(

I have been working on reviewing this game for quite awhile now, hoping in the interum that there would be an update that fixed the problems I faced with it but that never happened. In the end, my review on Video Game Cowboys came to the conclusion that RoR is a solid 50 out of 100 but was so close in many aspects that it could have easily scored higher.
