Awesome

Worth the 10 bucks...helped me a lot with my astronomy class in college :)

Broken English

JosephJFK

I bought this app as a learning tool, which requires reading the written material. Unfortunately, that material is in stilted, sometimes broken, English. If you don't mind English with German grammar and some very odd wording choices, it's probably not an issue. But for me, very disappointing.

The best i'l give away.

Look no further, this is the one! Best App you can get for your money, and you can bet that.

Best astro app out there

Wickedcor

The best of the best. Seriously. If you have any interest in astronomy at all, this app is the best one for you. I don't even know how the others made it on the featured page while this one didn't. It has literally everything you need, and more. Oh, you want to see the stars from Pluto? No probs. Want to see Deneb up close? No freakin problem. You want to take a tour of the Galaxy? Done.

Incredible graphics. Fantastic animations. Lots of useful information. Great learning tool. I can point iPad to sky and identify objects without switching to another app. Has rekindled my interest to review and get a scope on deep sky objects. How can I print a sky chart of a given night, from my iPad to wireless printer? Very satisfied.

Great app, but...

I truly enjoy using this app, but there are two things that stop me from giving it that 5th star. First, I am way past my 20's and my eye sight is far from 20/20. The labels for the stars are "Microscopic" and there is no Preference setting to change the size of the type. That sure would make my life easier. Second, it would be great if there were a pull-down "Favorites Menu" so that you can quickly access celestial bodies and objects such as the ISS. I will continue to use and enjoy this app and hope that these issues will be addressed soon. Thanks guys!!!!

No expert

I'm no expert, but I use it all the time mainly to learn the stars for celestial navigation. I've also found it handy to find celestial events like meteor showers and eclipses in the future. The almanac information is interesting. The position data is good for checking my celestial navigation with a sextant.
